"Everything went well initially. Countertop looked great. However, when I told the man in charge to remove the remainder off of my deck, he was obviously annoyed. I had told when he was taking it out that I only wanted ONE piece of the countertop left with me and showed him the piece I wanted. He had an obvious attitude and then went out to his truck and made me wait another 30 minutes to return to take it. They left a mess under the countertops (crumbled countertop, etc.) although they did sweep my floor. When I really looked at it afterwards, I notice that they cracked my backsplash and didn't tell me. Also, the plumber was great who came a couple of hours late, however, he told me the countertop crew had thrown away a part I needed to hook my garbage disposal back up so I had to give him $30 to replace it. Atila, the salesman/owner was wonderful during the sale process and very responsive. However, I was expecting a follow up call which didn't happen. The price was good for the work that was done."

"My husband and I were looking to replace our kitchen countertops with stone, but did not have a lot of time for "shopping around".  We visited three Angie's List members in one afternoon, and DMV Kitchen and Bath was the most responsive and helpful.  We found a beautiful granite, quarried locally, and DMV quickly provided an easy-to-understand proposal.  Once our GC reset the kitchen cabinets, the granite installers came out and measured on Friday and installed on Saturday and Sunday.  There was a bit of confusion on whether we needed to seal the granite or not, and once that was straightened out the installers returned on Tuesday (without complaining!) to seal the counters as the fabricators recommended.  All in all we were quite happy with the experience and would recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to other Angie's List members.

He encountered an issue with how our granite counter tops were installed and was able to work around it perfectly. We were extremely pleased with Ronald and absolutely love the final product! "Bill did a pretty good job installing our tile backsplash, though he said that he doesn't do lots of tile installation. He was able to start work a couple of days after we first contacted him. The job took him several hours longer than he intially estimated, but he stuck to his initial quote, which I appreciate. There were some minor spacing issues between some of the installed tile (if you look closely you can see the seam of one of the tile sheets, but it's usually covered anyway so no big deal), and the electrical outlets are not entirely flush with their covers. All in all, though, we added the new backsplash & countertops to get us through a few years until we can gut our kitchen and completely renovate it. This job looks good and will definitely serve that purpose."

"They did a terrific job.  My cabinets look beautiful.  They took off every door and drawer and sanded them, put two coats of primer and two coats of paint.  The old oak island looks gorgeous with the new wainscoting around it.  Now I just need to get new countertops and my kitchen will sparkle!
They did an excellent job painting the walls as well.  Very courteous.
