A wonderful kitchen remodel experience.

We talked with 2 other remodeling contractors and decided to go with So Cal Builders and Design (Avi, manager/contractor). My husband and I seemed like we had instant warmth with Avi and felt like he could be trusted. He turned all of our worries about remodeling into a great experience. The price was in the middle of the other contractors, but he showed us great pictures and Avi also had great ideas and we were hooked.  We picked out our cabinets, countertop, backsplash, we also had LED lights installed.

Then the process started, boy was I nervous at first when they gutted the kitchen, but after a day or two I was good.  Everyone that worked for Avi seems like we had a good connection with and also trusted them. Ferdi was the person that did the gutting, plumbing, painting and installing the appliances and all sorts of other things (great job Ferdi).

You know once you start a remodeling there are always other unforeseen issues that pop up.  Yes, they popped up with our remodeling, we found out the owners prior to us did some electrical work and it was wrong.  So, we had to fix the electrical issues and also upgraded our electrical box (additional cost, but good). Simon and Usher did all of our electrical work (great job Simon). Along the way we were able to change our minds and nobody had a problem with that (at least they didn?t complain). We also decided to make changes to an existing wall by adding on a larger countertop in the kitchen. When the cabinets were installed they looked GOOD, they used excellent materials, great workmanship and the crown molding was FABULOUS.  The countertops and backsplash are amazing too. Avi was always available, also with texting which made life great, didn?t matter what time he was always able to get back to us with answers to our many questions. He also was available to stop by to make sure we were happy and things were going as planned. The overall experience was fantastic.

We really enjoyed the professionalism and kindness that everybody displayed, also making sure we were pleased. Now we have our new kitchen and it is BEAUTIFUL.

My Husband and I are doing a total home remodel. We were looking for a company that would work with us on our kitchen remodeling project. We found Mr. Cabinet Care.  They helped us select different door styles, stains and counter top materials. The quality of their product was top notch. Their service was exemplary. "Early in 2023, my wife and I decided to pull the trigger on a master bathroom remodel. We figured that finding a quality contractor would be easy, and we'd get started quickly. And by going to a couple of home/remodeling shows in Del Mar and San Diego, this would all just come together easily. WRONG. Time and time again, even at the shows, we were told that unless we were doing a major remodel of $300k or more, we simply weren't worth the time. We actually got to the starting line with a smaller company specializing in kitchen/bath, until they told us their price (3x higher than the original estimate). FINALLY, we stumbled across USA Home Remodeling on Nextdoor. We met with Isaac, he walked us through his company and how the project would work, and broke down the costs - making it VERY easy to make decisions on what we wanted vs what we paid. We decided to go with him and his team, including a few hours with a designer. A week later, we got started, made selections on tile, mirrors, countertop, sinks, tub, and faucets, and then met with his cabinet guy to discuss what we're looking for in design. Separately, we also worked with a couple of other companies for "post" remodel for a new barn door for our closet as well as glass for the shower. Once all the tile/countertop/plumbing "stuff"/cabinetry showed up (and took over the garage), Isaac's team took about a day to demo the existing bathroom. Electricians and the plumbing team showed up right after that to start roughing in where lines need to run, as well as moving existing plumbing to support the new shower/tub/sink locations. We had a couple of design mods along the way, these were handled professionally and quickly - one was a necessity, one was simply updating the look of the tile with a new design "topper" to make the backsplash. Bottom line - once the demo was complete, the bathroom came back together VERY quickly, and the end result is simply stunning. The entire time, Isaac provided excellent communication, and the teams he used were not only incredibly talented, but easy to work with. The price was exactly what we were told it would be (no surprises, in other words). We have several other remodeling efforts coming up, there is NO doubt that we'll be utilizing USA Home Remodeling for them."
