Comment: I am the trustee for the house in question. The 42 year old paraplegic who lives with caretakers in the house uses a back ramp that was built by his father, to exit the house. He can use a walker at time, but he mainly uses the ramp to get out of the house. The current ramp is bowing and I suspect it and the hand rails need to be completely replaced. The back door is considerably raised in comparison to the back concrete drive area. The back door was meant to be accessed by concrete steps leading up to the door, but obviously the paraplegic can't use those. The current ramp was made of roofing plywood for the main ground pieces, and basically 2x4s cut at various lengths for the rails. It has a non-skid layer on the ramp itself. Anyone on this project would be working exclusively with me, NOT the paraplegic. The paraplegic has no legal right to the house, to make decisions on it, or to commit contractually to anything costing money. I know that sounds a bit harsh, but I just
