Services really helped us out of a tight spot when we bought our new home. We
bought our current house, and moving day was in two weeks. We thought that gave
us time to repaint the interior of our house as the colors were not to our
taste. We came in and repainted the master bedroom, when we realized that we would
not be able to do the rest before moving day. I had already contracted with
Westood Services to clean the carpets, and when I found out that they also do
interior paint, I called them to set up an appointment. Tim, the new owner, was
very friendly and professional.  He made
time to get to our house right away, and they repainted almost the entire
interior of our house in a little over three days! I know one of their painters
worked at least one twelve hour day to get the job done in time. The house
looks great, and give the time frame, they did a really good job. Given a
little more time, I'm sure all of the little things, like putting back the
outlet and vent covers would have been done. The paint just needed some extra
time to dry. I would recommend Westwood Services to anyone who needs carpet
cleaning, or interior painting done.

They were able to come in quickly and worked with the roofing company to prevent the rain from traveling into the other rooms. "First of all let me preface by saying that I purchased this home on foreclosure and it had been neglected for several years, including the gutters which is what caused the leak in the foundation wall.  Because the problem was allowed to continue for so long it had spread to all of the drywall in the basement.  A-1 came in and removed the bottom two feet of drywall, vapor barrier, and insulation from all the exterior walls of my basement they also removed a few rotted spots of the framing and painted a couple small patches with a mold and mildew resistant paint.   The whole process took approximately a week and the did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.  After the crew left we noticed a couple patches of the block that still had mold stains on them, when I contacted them about this they came out again and painted the block in those spots.  Maybe I am naive about this, but I think that it would have been prudent to paint all of the exposed studs and blocks to hopefully prevent any future issues.  The workers that came to my house were barely out of high school, but they were professional although I don't know how experienced they were. Overall it was an unexpected expense so I am not happy about it, but they did an ok job.  I still think they were a little overpriced, but I didn't have time to get multiple quotes.
