"I hired 1st Choice Services to fix a bad drainage problem in my front yard. I was concerned that we really wouldn't know how well it was fixed until we had a good, hard rain. Jon offered to wait for payment until it could be tested, but I didn't want them to have to wait who knows how long since there was no rain forecast for the next several days. I paid the invoice, then a few days later we got some very heavy rains that really stressed the job. Most of it drained very well, but there were a few spots that needed tweaking. Messaged Jon and they came back out and took care of the minor problem spots. Everyone who came to my home was very friendly and they all worked hard to make sure I was happy with the job. "Rather than fix the issue the first 2 calls, more refrigerant was pumped into the system. This cost me $75 for each call plus the cost of the refrigerant. The 3rd time, they fixed a valve and refilled the refrigerant and I am monitoring to see if this really fixed the problem. So I am out $225 for service calls fro the same problem and the cost of the refrigerant. I think they take this approach intentionally."
