"This was an emergency service as I could not take the chirping any longer.  It is funny when you find a company that says emergency service but when you say you need them you get the run around.  
I called Michael and Son - could not get service (emergency service) for Saturday or Sunday - need to schedule.  Called Kolb Electric their technician was in West Virginia and just for the service/travel fee it was $300 that did not include the cost for the work.  I called Mister Sparky - no emergency appointment.  
Then I lucked up and tried S & S.  The technician was understanding and willing to come out right away.  Finally a real 24/7 establishment.  He came and fixed our smoke detector quick, fast, and even waited to make sure no issues.  He even said if we had any problems to call him back.  We are so pleased we plan to call them for all our future electrical needs.  
I will remember that everything individual's put on their website is not true, that these places that say they will get you someone is not true, and you really have to support those that stand behind their words.  The entire household is very pleased to finally get a good night of rest.

Plus the electrician was on time, very courteous and respectful, used drop clothes and shoe covers to minimize dirt, swept and vacuumed area, and reasonably priced. They receive an AAA plus. "Kevin Williams was sent to repair problems created by another electrician hired by Kitchen Saver during an expansive kitchen re-face and cabinet installation. Among other things, he re-located an unsightly transformer that had been previously secured to the inside of the first shelf of a main kitchen cabinet to a lower cabinet out of sight. Voila! Then, he re-routed unsightly wiring previously clamped to the far corner of a glass display cabinet so that it was out of sight. These were difficult puzzles to solve, as the new cabinets had already been installed and there was no longer easy access. Kevin was friendly, professional, and experienced! Great job!"
