"Juan came out and gave us a price to replace bathroom exhaust fans and light fixtures in both of our bathrooms. He told us how long the work would take and that was how long it took. He worked nonstop for four hours and charged us just what he told us he would. His work is excellent and precise. We feel very fortunate that our search for an electrician started with him. We would call Juan first when we have need again for any electrical work."

"Fabian did an excellent job on my electrical panel. He arranged for SMUD and the county to come to inspect and permit. I would highly recommend Light Way Electric."

"Jeff and his crew did a great job upgrading the electrical panels at my 6-unit apartment building. The whole experience from start to finish has been exceptional and would highly recommend Cooper Electric for any of your electrical needs. Jeff's bid for the work was very competitive compared to the other bids I received. Jeff coordinated with SMUD and the City of Sacramento Inspection/Permit Department to complete the electrical panel upgrades, power shutdown and final inspection in just one day. Jeff was personally involved throughout the entire project and kept me informed on all ongoing activities."

"Jason responded quickly to my call. He replaced the electrical panel in my home. Jason was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He seriously knows what he is doing. He communicates well and was able to explain to me (a very non technical person) what was happening. I would definitely hire him again."

"Crux Electrical did an amazing job upgrading my electrical panel. Ed's communication was excellent throughout the entire project. Their workers were totally professional, and my family felt comfortable being home. My brother stopped by my house during construction. He commented on how organized their truck was. He saw a different company truck (TV advertised company) in total disarray and said he would have no confidence in them. Additionally, there were no hidden fees and their price was competitive."

"I highly recommend Dalan and SurgeFlow Electric! He recently installed a NEMA 14-50 EV charging outlet at my home, and the work was absolutely top-notch. Everything was done cleanly, professionally, and to code—exactly what you want when dealing with electrical work. Dalan is a highly experienced electrician who clearly knows his craft inside and out. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. He’s also putting in the effort to build his own business from the ground up, which I really respect. His pricing is very fair and competitive, the service is friendly and responsive, and the quality of the installation is outstanding. If you’re on the fence about hiring a new electrician, give Dalan a shot—he’s the real deal. You won’t be disappointed. Support a hardworking local business owner who delivers great results! Thanks again, Dalan!"

FAQs for electrical service projects in Sacramento, CA

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.

Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.

DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
