They demoed our old porch, found the source of the problem, excavated old fill, waterproofed around our foundation, put in brand new fill and a brand new porch, and constructed a french drain to carry the water away from our house. I have never seen guys work so hard in my life. They did an excellent job. The end results look great! They were also great at those soft skills that are so important...communication, prompt responses to emails, attention to detail. As a result, the excavating team arrived at my primary residence well ahead of the scheduled time, and Miss Utility had marked out my property by mistake. I contacted Rachel at DB's to let them know there was a problem, and that hopefully they would still be able to complete the work at the correct address that day. Within 35 to 40 minutes, the problem had been resolved and the crew was on-site at the rental property and starting the work. Thankfully, the pipe was not quite as deep as previously thought so excavation was much easier and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. DB's reduced the cost for the work from the original estimate as some of the issues they had estimated and planned for did not materialize. Shane and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable, and they left the yard in excellent condition where the excavation had been done. While their price was a bit higher than I had expected, their responsiveness and professionalism were much appreciated and I would consider using them again for my plumbing needs."
