"The service from Alliance Service Pros was fantastic! Tom Kensinger was my service pro and he delivered above and beyond my expectations. The flower bed in front of my house next to the foudation was very soggy and water was coming through the foundation into my house; assumed a water or sewer leak. Chalres from Alliance pros investigated the situation, throughouly examined the situation, checked all township/state codes and then provided a compeitive quote. Two days later Tom was onsite for the repair, it was around 90-95 degrees. He hand dug 6 ft of earth to uncover a broken water line in the foundation. Tom overcame serveral challenges with main water line shutoff not working, significant flooding while digging to get the job down. He also brought a change of clothes, before coming into the house to not muddy up my house/basement. He repaired the waterline outside and through the house and then sealed the water line and the sewer line in the foundation in and out. He took care on digging to separate the mulch and dirt, so upon refilling the hole he could leave it as he left. Lastly, he hosed down all areas of my porch, driveway and sidewalk. Basically looked liked it was never touched. He worked 12 hours and promised to not leave until we had water that night. I have never seen this dedication from a trade professional before and my long review is a return in kind for the level of work he showed my family. They will be my go to plumbing professionals from now on."

"We had a shed pad installed for our new shed. Bob really worked to make sure we understood the different types of pads we could get as well as the ground leveling process. He was the only contractor we talked to that put the pad in the ground (excavating some dirt) so that it didn't just sit on top. As an added bonus, he swiped away a patch of really thick ivy that we've been struggling with. When scheduling the pad, he did delay the installation due to weather issues, showing real concern that if we didn't delay at least a day, the installation would be less than the professional level he likes to leave with. I left for the morning to go to work and when I came home, the pad was ready for a shed.
Bob shows a concern for his homeowner's well being in all matters and is very knowledgable. I fully recomend him to anyone seeking a similar install, and will consider Rock-a-fella's when ever I have a gravelly/patio/deck need in the future.

"Dear Angi, Chris Clark, the owner of Clark Chimney & Masonry, came out to my home within a few days after our initial phone conversation... He provided me with an estimate later that day... He arrived with his Crew a day later which I found to be very impressive... I originally thought it would be several months before the project could even be started!!! The two Fellows working for him were extremely Professional, Kind, Respectful, and Courteous... Not only did they do my Pellet Stove Installation, they also moved around furniture for me to help clear up my living space... Chris and his Crew did an amazing job and I am so grateful... Now, my Family and I can enjoy the wonderful warmth of our pellet stove... Many Thankx to Clark Chimney & Masonry... You have truly earned our future business..."

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
