"Nixon and his crew did an outstanding job gutting and rebuilding a very challenging bathroom in our house, which was built in the 1930s. We are very happy with the craftsmanship and the price, and it was a pleasure to work with them on this project from start to finish. I highly recommend this excellent contractor."

Customers say: Quality work
"I had been waiting for another company to do the work. They couldnât give me a date, not even an estimate. More than six weeks after receiving the quote for that company to remove a dead tree and some stumps, I gave up in frustration. I cancelled and found Don. A day after meeting with him, Don sent his people to remove a dead tree that had been on my front lawn since a snowstorm brought it down. I appreciated that so much. He returned, as we had agreed, and removed the stumps."

"Tom from TLC was incredible!! I would highly recommend him to friends and family. Tom and his team ( Franklin and William) were great to work with, they stayed on schedule(arrived on time everyday and stayed till the work was completed each day) and got the job completed on time... even with the additional projects we requested. I could not be happier with the quality of the workmanship! Our house was built in 1915 so there isn't a straight wall or doorway anywhere and they had the skills to get the job done and the outcome is amazing. We love our new kitchen!! Feel free to contact us for direct and detailed feedback."

Small jobs welcome
"Vincent Police, the owner, started and completed the work as per the schedule. He was on site the majority of the time both supervising his crew and performing the work. He kept me informed on a daily basis and was very helpful explaining the scope of work as it took place for removing the slab in my 2 car garage and pouring a new reinforced slab. The finished product has a professional looking appearance and the crew left a totally cleaned site. I'm very satisfied with the work and i recommend AA Outdoor Services for similar projects.d"

Depth depends on the type of installation and the regulations in your area. Water supply lines typically require 24 inches, while drainage pipes are often installed 36 inches below grade. For most general projects, a depth of 12 to 24 inches and a width of about eight inches is sufficient. Sticking to these specs keeps your utilities safe, code-compliant, and easier to maintain later.
When you need to run utilities underground, you’ve got two main options: boring or trenching. Boring employs directional drilling to install utilities without exposing a continuous channel, while trenching requires excavating an open channel to place utilities securely. Directional drilling preserves landscape integrity, whereas trenching provides direct access for installation, albeit with greater surface disruption. This clear comparison helps you select the method best suited to your project.
Plan on 12 hours to dig 100 linear feet when the soil is cooperative and you can work continuously. This timeframe applies when work is performed consistently and methodically. Factors such as rocky soil, tree roots, obstructions, and frozen ground increase the overall duration, demanding extra planning and effort. Comprehensive operational planning ensures that every challenge is managed efficiently and the project is completed on schedule.
If you want your yard to look untouched, laying fresh sod over the trench is the quickest fix. New sod needs 30 to 45 days to root and blend with the rest of your lawn. A local sod pro can provide you with a firm timeline and tips to ensure the grass takes hold and maintains your curb appeal.
