On the day of the French drain and French drain extension installation, the crew was prompt and immediately started the job. I was pleased with their professionalism as well and they worked very hard to excavate the dirt and install the French drain components. Upon completion of the amazing work, I observed the workers reassembling my yard and also cleaned up my driveway of any loose rocks. "There was some confusion with respect to the address where the repair work was to be completed. As a result, the excavating team arrived at my primary residence well ahead of the scheduled time, and Miss Utility had marked out my property by mistake. I contacted Rachel at DB's to let them know there was a problem, and that hopefully they would still be able to complete the work at the correct address that day. Within 35 to 40 minutes, the problem had been resolved and the crew was on-site at the rental property and starting the work. Thankfully, the pipe was not quite as deep as previously thought so excavation was much easier and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. DB's reduced the cost for the work from the original estimate as some of the issues they had estimated and planned for did not materialize. Shane and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable, and they left the yard in excellent condition where the excavation had been done. While their price was a bit higher than I had expected, their responsiveness and professionalism were much appreciated and I would consider using them again for my plumbing needs."

"They were remarkable. First, they excavated the minimum needed to repair our drain and install the CIPP liner. They saved our front cement and brick staircase (directly over the main house sewer line). They only removed one section of the sidewalk that was over the main house sewer line. When done, they filled and compacted the dirt, covered the lawn with straw (i.e., ready for me to add seed and to avoid erosion) and replaced the damaged sidewalk section. The workers were polite and respectful of both us and our property. There was truly minimal disruption to the household. We could not flush toilets or run water down the drains for about 3 hours each day they worked on the line. We contracted for repair of the pipe that was on our property. They completed this work in two days. We then added re-lining the pipe under the road to the county connection. The team added people for and worked late on the second day. Job done on day 3. "I would hire and recommend Jesse and Tillerman Gardens in a heartbeat. We did a complete overhaul of our overgrown and unusable backyard. We worked with four different contractors through the process and Tillerman Gardens was by far the best to work with. Jesse was super responsive to calls, emails and texts. He provided different options in the estimate and broke each down so we could easily see how and where we wanted to spend our money. They were not the cheapest estimate but when I asked Jesse to explain the cost difference, it was clear that they used quality materials and performed the work to stand the test of time. For example, they use polymeric hard sand joints which allows for proper drainage when wet but dries hard like cement, which is crucial for our digging-obsessed preschooler who dug out much of the stone dust from our old patio. The crew worked super hard and were tremendously efficient so I ended up hiring them to also create two large garden beds for us. When we had a problem with the smallest pieces on the very edge breaking off, Jesse responded right away and his crew returned to fix the problem. They took a completely unusable yard and made a beautiful patio where my children can now play everyday. 
I also want to add that we live in Takoma Park where the tree laws are very strict. I felt completely confident with Tillerman Gardens doing the work. They adjusted the design to ensure we did not break any of the tree codes. I recommend them highly!
