"The motion sensor light has never worked properly. It only goes on when it is very windy. Called and electrician returned and made adjustments but that did not help. Called back again to have the light looked at and to also have 2 ceiling fan lights installed. I never received a call back. Hired another electrician for the ceiling fans. Two months later Atlantic Electric called back to see what I needed and I decided not to continue using them."

"Outstanding. I noticed the other day that my front porch light had dropped out of the recessed receptacle and was hanging by its wires. I quickly contacted several electricians from Angie's list and only heard back from two of them. Both were pleasant and helpful. One could not get to me for about 7-9 days. The other (Phaze Electric) had me on their schedule the next day. Jerome showed up early and quickly assessed what was needed. He obtained the necessary part from Lowe's and was back in a flash to remove the old housing and install the new one. I also used Phaze Electric a couple of years ago to hang ceiling fans on my back porch and they did an excellent job then, too. Phaze Electric will be the company I call in the future for all my electrical needs. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price."

"Mixed feelings here. Called because my bathroom exhaust fan in the house we just bought does not vent to the outside; it vents to the attic. Read online that this is very bad and should be remedied. Called Sparky to come to look. The woman on the phone was VERY nice, professional, and helpful. We scheduled an estimate for a few days out. The two Sparky techs showed up on time and were very professional. However, they were here for less than 5 minutes, never looked in my attic, said it is fine to vent to the attic, and charged me $50 for coming out. The woman with whom I scheduled the estimate did tell me about the $50 but also added that it would be deducted from the cost of the work when the work was over, which makes sense. I guess...if the issue was THIS simple (needing NO visual inspection of the attic and only a cursory glance at the bathroom)...seems like a wasted trip that could have been handled with a 30-second phone call. Seems like they just wanted the $50. Everybody I interacted with was professional. It just felt a little...odd."
