Charles, a native of South Carolina, began as an apprentice under Walter “Bump” Bowman and Herbert Snell of Orangeburg. After working in his hometown with some of the top drywall and plaster companies, Charles moved to Atlanta in 1992 to work for such top companies as Mulkey Enterprises and Anning-Johnson—gaining seven more years of experience in commercial and residential drywall installation. Charles stepped out on his own in 1998 to form what eventually became G&G Drywall and Paint Services. And, fifteen years later, the business is still family owned and operated.
