"This was our first remodelling experience. We had heard multiple the horror stories and were very nervous. Bassam met us at our house and wrote down all the work/changes that we wanted to make. He provided a quote within two days. I had received quotes from about 5 other vendors, he wasn’t the least expensive or the most expensive, but reasonable, so we decided to go with Bassam based on prior reviews. Our existing kitchen was traditional. Our goal was to do refresh the kitchen and modernize it to build our "dream kitchen". Once the work began, the time estimated to complete the project was 8 weeks. The work began with the demolition of the existing kitchen. An opening was made between the dining room and kitchen to provide a more open design and give some additional space. New tile floors were installed in the kitchen, family room, dining room, utility room, and breakfast areas. The flooring change was major in that leveling was required and each room initially had a different floor type (wood and tile). New wood cabinetry doors (including a center island) was then installed. The marble was then installed along with a new sink. Everything went much better than expected. As in most projects, we had some surprises and changes along the way, but Bassam was very agreeable and reasonable on costs and very pleasant to work with. He came by the house to check on progress and answer our questions. His subcontractors are very good, professional, and polite. We are very satisfied and happy with our new kitchen. We can highly recommend Bassam and Floor It Today. We will call on him for our future needs."
