"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. "Daniel’s young apprentice, Sam came out for the job first but didn’t have the right equipment to inspect my narrower wood stove chimney. He didn’t make excuses, handled the stress of it professionally, and apologized profusely. Daniel arrived and went over everything after the inspection with pics and did a thorough cleaning and made a few future recommendations. Due to the inconvenience, he refused to charge me.
