He complimented our existing red oak floor and recommended sanding/staining the existing floor. I had a sub-floor in the dining room that was covered in carpet and surrounded by hardwood that I needed fixed with hardwood. He made suggestions on how this area could be fixed. He scheduled time for the work and kept the dates. Janos and his partner arrived on time each day and worked thoroughly. They were very considerate and professional. He did a wonderful job on the dining room area that I was so concerned about by framing around the area in way that makes the floor look seamless. The work he did in that room was truly artistic and displayed amazing craftsmanship. The feel and look of the flooring is better than I expected. The sanding made the floors look and feel brand new. "Henry and Marianne Baker did a wonderful job on my floors. I had an old rug covering the floor and the pad underneath was disintegrating and sticking to the floor. They had a guy that came in and scraped prior to sanding. They were quick to get started and worked for about 5 days till they were finished. My floor is beautiful I knew there were stains and dark spots on my floor but I think in the end it just adds to the beauty of my floor. They were excited about doing a good job for me. They really wanted me to have the best finished product they could. They really like the high gloss finish for it's durability and shine. I wanted the semi gloss as it fit me and what I wanted in my home. In the end I did the semi gloss and we were all happy with the results. I would recommend Henry and Marianne to anyone getting their wood floors refinished.
