"First let me take a moment to thank Hews Carpet Care, and the owner for taking such great care with our carpet and stairs and leaving our floors and stairs looking like they were new once again! We needed to have all of the carpet upstairs in the bedrooms & hall way stretched as well as all of the carpet on stairs stretched and retacked and we had 3 flights. Not only did he do an exceptional job but Hugh the owner was professional, and and truly an expert in his craft! He also had a wonderful personality and his only goal was to make sure you were happy above and beyond. He also provides a warranty, so working with a craftsman with over 40 yrs of experience in his trade, he went above & beyond what we expected and we couldn't help but provide him with a nice tip to show our gratitude!. So thanks again Hugh for all of your help! We'll end saying anyone who needs carpet care, visit his website & don't hesitate to call Hews Carpet Care. Sincerely, Jay & Mel"

"Matched existing floor exactly. Did a wonderful job installing my new floor."

"Excellent service! Top Notch is the right description of this company! David scheduled the work immediately for the following day when I called to ask about the deal on Angie's List. He and his helper were totally professional, did an awesome job, and charged a very fair price! I would definitely hire them again for any carpet needs!"

"Wayne was great to work with. He removed carpet from my stairs and replaced with oak stair treads. He did a great job staining the oak to match surrounding trim and my entrance way looks beautiful. He even re-stained the banister and added a new one for me after he had started the project and adjusted his schedule to accomodate. I recommend him to anyone who needs carpentry."

"They were recommended to me by Floor and Decor and I could not be happier with the work. Thank you!"

"I enjoyed working with them as they were very friendly and informative. They did a good job at stretching the carpet but the cleaning part could have been done better. ( I think they had a malfunction in the cleaning machine."

"

Wayne Settle came out as scheduled, looked at the space, measured it, had us choose the flooring, and then gave us a price. He brought the materials out to sit for a week before installation inside the house to avoid expansion or shrinking because of the temperature or humidly change after delivery. He scheduled the installation on the first mutually agreeable day after the week, a Thursday.

In deference to our preference for not getting up extremely early (we are retired) he set the arrival time for 9 a.m., and he and two other workmen (one a workman, one a workwoman) arrived about 10 minutes early. They set to work immediately and efficiently, moving the last heavy pieces of furniture to one side of the room and then the other as they worked, as agreed. They had the bedroom finished and ready to sleep in by the time they left that afternoon, and returned at 9 the next morning to do the hall. The job is beautiful, with every corner perfectly finished, and Wayne without a reminder deducted the cost of flooring the closets, a change we had not requested until after the flooring was ordered.

All three were very friendly and pleasant, as quiet as people using power tools can be, and willing to put up with a large and noisy dog. We felt the cost was very reasonable for more than 10 hours of work by three people, and they could not have been more responsive. Wayne cheerfully concluded the job by fixing a badly-hung door that hadn't worked well in more than 20 years. We were more than happy that we had found such good people through Angie's List!

"They didn't vacuum when they fixed the carpet."

"The crew worked quickly and efficiently while cleaning up as they progressed. Because it was a Saturday morning, everyone was home, but they did not interfere with the flow of activities that day. Floor Medic removed 3 rooms of old carpeting and installed 3 rooms of new carpeting in less than 4 hours."
