"Called AA Action Waterproofing on Friday, 5/26/17, and spoke to Rhonda Plaine, Sales & Service Coordinator, to make an appointment. I was scheduled for the very next week, June 1st, to meet with "Angelo" to perform an estimate of the work to be done. I found "Angelo" to be very knowledgeable, and he made his advice easy to understand. We set up a date of June 6th to have the work completed. "Joe," the foreman, and his work-crew of 2 other men arrived at my home on 6/6 at 8:45 AM, and they were quick to begin their exterior excavation work. At the minimum, all 3 men dug to a depth of 8 inches below the outside foundation footer and sealed the exterior wall cracks. My inside cellar walls were scraped, cleaned and caulked. Then, a Zoeller sump pump was installed in the floor. The crew made efficient use of their time, and in just 2 hours their work was done; they departed at 11 AM. Without question, working with AA Action Waterproofing was a positive experience that all began when "Rhonda" answered the telephone (instead of getting someone's voicemail). You get the sense that "their team" really want to help you, at a reasonable price, and still stand behind their work with their warranty. Do yourself a favor and stay with a winner!"

"Early this year, I had a structural engineer at my house to assess what needed to be done to repair my retaining wall to extend its life for at least another 10 years. I took his recommendations, and then selected several contractors from AL to give estimates, one of which was Xtra Care. I met with four contractors in total. CJ, Project Manager, came right out and walked the entire length of the wall with me. This is a monster wall (for a private residence) consisting of 6x6x6 wooden posts. After meeting with CJ, I was convinced that they could do this job. I called Mari at the office and scheduled the work for the 3rd week of August, which was several months away. The fact that they were booked months in advance is obviously a good sign. I then called back the structural engineer and told him who I selected to do the work. When I mentioned Xtra Care, he said simply, "They're good...I've worked with them before." Good sign # 2. Due to the heavy rains in August, the job was pushed back a few times, which happens and is not a problem. Mari always emailed me with updates daily, and CJ always promptly replied to any calls or texts from me. Once the guys started, it was done in a few days as promised. They did exactly what we contracted for, and a little more. CJ also came back to the job to do a final walk through. The work turned out better than we could have imagined. We are very happy with the work, and the $4,750 was more than fair for what was done. And, the awesome communication was an added benefit. We would definitely hire Xtra Care in the future.
