After they crawled under the house, took measurements, etc, they found nothing wrong with the foundation, advised me that I was not in need of their services, and provided me with the names of a few well-known and trustworthy local businesses that could repair the foundation crack. "John removed our old cracked and broken driveway and hauled away all debris. He was meticulous in his preparation and laid crushed gravel and rebar. Come the day of the concrete pour he showed his expertise in working on the cement and created an awesome final product. His professionalism and fair price would make me want to recommend him to my friends and family."

"I needed to have my crawlspace entrance widened to accommodate a new furnace. For starters, the wood frame around the entrance, nailed to the concrete foundation, would have to be removed. Additionally, a few inches of the concrete wall would have to be removed to make the opening even wider. The work was complicated by the fact that the entrance was surrounded by a small aluminum enclosure, which made things pretty cramped.
The two NCC employees (Garret and another) arrived on time. They removed the frame with a large pry bar. They also made a clean 20" vertical cut through the 8" concrete wall. When they were done they made sure I thought the opening was large enough for the furnace. In the end, we concluded that the aluminum enclosure would also need to be removed. They were willing to do that too, but they didn't have a reciprocating saw with them. They did advise me on how they thought it could be done.

"4.5 stars overall for removal of concrete slab/stairs and pouring of new 10' long, 4 foot deep foundation wall. Result was excellent. Crew was considerate and trustworthy. It was expensive for me, but cheaper than the other bids I got. Communication was not great over email. There were a number of times I wasn’t replied to at all or got a partial response. I let them know and they said they’ll work on that. I recommend communicating via text instead which worked much better."

I searched around and picked Insulation Co. Estimation without inspection seemed weird at first, but it made totally sense since the foundation layout is all there in the files. Jo had always been responsive, detailed and nice whenever I had questions. Scheduling was easy and Rafael and the team did a great and efficient job onsite. 2 months after the installation, we noticed that there was still standing water and they came back to install more pipes and gravels.
