"My neighbor and I sat on my front porch and watched the entire operation. We were mesmerized by the systematic way they operated. Schedule the work for a day when you have time to watch-from a safe distance, of course.
One man climbed the tree using the gear you see lumberjacks employ. He used a system of ropes to move the limbs which were then guided by a man on the ground so that they fell harmlessly to earth. Each limb was trimmed a piece at a time until it was completely removed. It was fascinating. All the pieces were loaded onto trucks and the bits were raked up and loaded too.
The palm tree was taken down in sections and taken to a truck for disposal.
I was very happy with both the work and with the price. Several of my neighbors also wanted to schedule service when they saw the skill these workers have in dealing with trees without using cherry pickers and other expensive equipment.
