"I just bought a new house, where one room had a noticeable slope in it. I believe it was because this room used to be the garage before a remodel. I had RamJack come out to check it out to make sure there was not an issue with the foundation. They showed up and looked at the room, checked out the outside and performed some tests with their instruments. He could have scared me and told me that I needed lots of work, because honestly I have no idea about foundations and I was willing to pay to fix the issue on my new house. However, he explained to me that he did not believe there was an issue and that the house was fine. He said when I replace the carpet, to have the flooring people level out the slope and that should take care of it. It is great to work with those who do their best to give you accurate honest advice and not try and use your lack of knowledge against you. All of this was done for no cost, and that is what puts the cherry on top of this story. I know if I ever do have any issue, RamJack is the first place I will call, since if they tell me there is any issue I can trust that there really is one."

"I hired Jon initially to repair some water damage in the crawl space which affected a couple of the support beams. As he started working on the project he noticed some constraints that required a few adjustments to the original plan. Throughout the process he constantly explained the several available options and what the implications would be of choosing between them. To prevent future damage he also installed a French drain system to prevent water entering in the crawl space. As he was already working in the crawl space, we decided to also reinsulate the crawl space as the existing insulation was fairly old and not up to code. He was very flexibly in terms of timeline and did a great job in installing the insulation. This was a particularly challenging project due to the area size (over 4000sqf) and crawl space geometry. Overall I'm very happy with the work performed by Square 1 Venture group, I highly recommend then and would certainly work with them in the future. Great value and customer service!"

"Pinpoint re-graded and re-graveled my driveway, using a laser to accurately slope the drive, so water would drain away from the house. Re-grading involved excavation of the old gravel (to lower the drive), removal of some large rocks which were encountered, and hauling away of all the excavated material. New gravel was then spread and compacted. I am completely happy with the work and Pinpoint. Pinpoint was professional, with good equipment, arrived on time, did what they said they would do, completed the work promptly, didn't leave a mess, and provided a great looking job. "While such work is not cheap, Terra Firma stayed with us throughout, including during some delays based on obtaining permits here in Oregon, so that wasn't their fault. The work was outstanding, with a three-person crew putting in three very busy days in cold and wet weather to drive 17 reinforcing titanium piers around roughly half the perimeter of the foundation, with most of them extending clear down to bedrock. They also managed to raise both sliding corners of the house, from slopes of about 1.5" (4 cm) on either corner, back to their original level, which amazed us (we were hoping to have just stabilization, with the possibility of raising the foundation just partway). The house sits on a very steep slope leading down to a creek, and years of slow but noticeable "sliding down the hill" are now not only corrected, but the whole foundation is now as level as when it was constructed 25 years ago. Perhaps needless to say, we're thrilled with the results.
