"These guys were great, and the owner, Jo Estrada, a pleasure to work with. A crew of 5 spent 5 hours cleaning, inspecting, and replacing insulation and vapor shield in our crawl space. They took pictures of everything, before and after. THe crew was pleasant, and worked really hard.... couldn't believe how much stuff they removed from under there. The crawl space is tight, but they didn't complain (at least to us!). They gave us good recommendations for some repairs needed for the foundation. "My carport was seriously damaged by huge tree roots that had caused cracks that could not be patched. As such, I obtained bids from a few concrete contractors and chose Lucas Construction LLC who had the lowest bid. I was a bit concerned by going with the lowest bidder but from the start, I was pleased by the approach of the owner who made several visits to the site to tell me exactly how they planned to proceed. He had good ideas about fixing some of the existing problems such poor drainage. The workers could not use heavy equipment due to the slope of the carport roof. This didn't stop the workers who broke up the thick pad by hand. They hauled off all of the broken concrete for disposal and prepared the pad for a concrete pour when the weather would improve. I never saw any workers work so well with each other as a team and do such heavy work without any complaints from start to finish. I was not there when the concrete was poured but the job looked great and stood up to the drainage problems at a recent rain. To sum things up, this contractor did everything on time, did a great job of preparation and finish work and made sure that this difficult project would turn out to be well done. I would use this firm in a heartbeat if I needed a concrete contractor. They well deserve a five star rating."

"I have a 1906 cottage in N Seattle, with an old porous foundation. Water came into the basement for the first time in 20 years. Another contractor bid the job at $12,000 after 3 site visits and almost a month. Andy came out to the house the same day I talked to him, and estimated the same job at half that price. A couple small issues: communication was challenging at times because it was hard to know when the crew was going to actually arrive at our house to work, and they mistakenly dug up the wrong part of our lawn due to a miscommunication; quality-wise, a thin crack appeared on part of the concrete patio after a few months.
