"Let me start by telling you my backstory. I live in a house built in 1929, it has a stone foundation. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy that I felt the effects of a house that had no waterproofing and we had about three feet of water. We did a little bit of mitigation, and had no more problems for awhile. More recently, NY had five days of non stop rain and the walls in basement and flooring barely held it together. So that's when I knew I really had to do something. Every time we heard the weather report we would keep checking that basement and our little water pump. Plus he dealt with a multitude of questions from my husband and didn't flinch. He was patient, showed us exactly what they would do to protect the basement from flooding. "I am very happy with the service that I got from Rooter man! They called me back very promptly to set up my appointment and it was for the next day! Tim explained what had to be done and why which I appreciated, but could not finish the repair on that day because I had to get permission from the owner of the unit to open a wall. Once I had permission , again quick service! Tim and Paul came, fixed my shower control, replaced all the fixtures and put in a new access panel behind the shower wall. They actually cleaned everything up behind them so you couldn't even tell they had been there!!
