"I have been dealing with water coming in my basement since 1996 when I purchased my home. I have hesitated hiring the big waterproofing companies as they are so expensive (in the thousands of dollars) and they typically receive bad reviews. When I saw Swaskoski Solutions on Angi's List, I noted they had excellent reviews and were a locally owned company where the owner, Bill, is present on the jobs. I called the phone number and Bill promptly answered my call! Bill scheduled a visit to my home and studied my dilemma. He told me he could fix this water issue for me and could do this from the outside of my home. He quoted me a price that was a fraction of the cost of the other big water companies where you never see the owner. Bill is a wonderful communicator answering my questions and he and his team were on time and worked diligently and solved my water dilemma! After digging along the foundation, they found 3 holes in the block where water was entering my home! They repaired these holes with hydraulic cement and then tarred the foundation! My water dilemma is now solved for the first time in 27 years. I would HIGHLY recommend Bill - Swaskoski Solutions. They were extremely respectful of my property and very trustworthy. "It went perfectly! Incredibly! We had the (steep!) front steps of our house and a few pads of concrete replaced with aggregate concrete. From the moment Connie called to talk about the job to the time that Nick showed up to give us the estimate to the time when Nick and his crew showed up to do the work, this has been an absolutely perfect experience. I cannot believe how well everything has gone and how beautifully the steps turned out. Not only did they replace the steps, but they fixed a few problems and made what I consider a little piece of art in the way they form the steps at the top where they meet up with the landing. I think the curves they added and the steps themselves are just stunning. Sometimes when you call contractors for estimates, you never hear back. Connie called shortly after I asked them to contact me. Then Nick came when he said he was going to come, even though it was the most torrential downpour ever, and the crew came on time every day to do the work. First of all, Eric and Charles, owners, both do estimates and they came on time, with Caleb. They said the both of them go to all jobs. When getting the french drain started, they noticed water leaking from another of those cheap copper pipes. They told us then that we would not need the sump pump system. Then they said they would try and repair the pipe. How many companies would really do these things? They said our water problem should be resolved, but if not to call them.
