"A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! We went on Angie's List and found The Pond Doctor and read the reviews. We contacted Mark King, the owner, and described the work we would like done and sent him pictures of our garden pond. Mark responded right away and explained the steps needed to clean the pond and outlined what his company would do and he then provided us a cost estimate. We felt comfortable with selecting The Pond Doctor and Mark placed us on his work schedule and a few days later Jeremiah, the foreman, and his crew arrived. "They called Miss Utility and had the ground marked for the utility wire locations. They showed up as scheduled on a Thursday, removed the rotting wood beams. Each afternoon when they left, they covered the open area with tough plastic to keep things from washing away during thunderstorms. They came back each weekday, rebuilt the support structure, replaced all of the border wood beams, leveled the slates and power-washed the entire patio. They had to temporarily remove part of a fence in order to reach all of the wood beams that needed to be replaced, but they put the fence back carefully and neatly. They came back and filled in the places between the slates that had been dirt (which was power washed away) with light gravel. They finished up, neatening the dirt that had been moved around, including on my neighbor's side of the fence, on the following Thursday afternoon. They moved my patio furniture back into my preferred positions and I told them it looks as if I have a completely new patio!

"They gave us an estimate on 03/22 and we agreed on 04/04.  They started work on 04/11, with the removal of the existing brick patio and the flower garden,  They poured a concrete base, bringing both these areas to the same height as the sidewalk.  They then built a dry-stack stone enclosure on the front and side of our porch, and installed the square cut flagstone cap on the entire area.  Finally, they built an area of concrete, about four inches wide, to transition from the driveway to the new flagstone area.  This was done in about four days of work, including one day when they had to build a tent-like structure over the work site to shield them from the rain,  The entire crew was courteous, neat, and professional.  We would recommend their service to anyone."

"Plumber they scheduled was on time, in identifying uniform, professional and did a great job. I was hoping a bigger issue didn't exist as the sink was backing up/ not draining water for several weeks. He also had the correct replacement part in his marked truck. Scheduling was efficient and faster than expected. Just thought the price was rather high for the work being asked done. I asked for the free estimate, and discovered price lists are established by company only once the plumber was onsite. Unfortunately, trying to get anyone else's opinion on such a small job was proving difficult because the risk of not doing the work once on site is not something that many will bother with doing in person.
