My old chain link garage door openers started making loud noises right before one of them snapped a cable trapping my car inside the garage. I contacted HT Garage Door Services and from the first conversation with the owner, I knew I was in great hands. He came right over and gave me a full inspection of the doors, assessment of parts, and new opener options. No gimmicks, no overpricing, and no unnecessary changing of parts. "Our is 2.5 storey and steep roof. Owner visited and without getting on roof told me that you need to replace 2 flashings. The house is 9 years old and according to him ( I am not sure) it is better to replace flashing after 10-12 years any way. I think flashing should have same about 30 years life of roof. However, I accepted the recommendation as cost was $150. Also, I don't think they inspected or did anything on other side of the roof. He sent Brian in the following week to carry out work. Brian is really hardworking honest guy. He spent about 4 hours on roof to replace flashing and nail down singhles on one side of roof. I was not happy since they didn't even look at other side of roof. Since my $200 +79 was worth their effort of 4 hours I am OK with the service provided. However, I felt that they are giving this deal to generate more business. and chnging of flushing was not necessary. Anyway I was happy with Brian and hence I am giving A other wise I would have given B."

"I contacted Mike to provide an estimate for window replacement for my house in Corolla. Mike was responsive and showed up when he said he would (not alway a given in the OBX). Based our our positive meeting and his knowledgable attitude, I also contracted with Mike to perform the exterior painting, siding repair, and additional roofing vent replacement. Mike is extremenly responsive and communicative. One of the best things about his approach is continuous communications with detailed pictures of the progress and receipts. This was especially important as this is a rental property and we are located remotely from the house. Mike stuck to his estimate and I am very pleased with the workmanship, particularly with the windows. Top notch work and I plan to use him again for additional work on this property.

"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.
