"They arrived on time, then troubleshot the issue that I have, extremely courteous and professional. They repaired my AC system and did a checkup at the same time; replaced a faulty part, which they have in the truck, which means that there is no ordering and waiting. I will definitely call them again in the future."

"I was not sure what was wrong so I called these guys, described what I knew, and they said they would come look at it. They said there was an $85 minimum charge for an assessment but that it would be credited toward any kind of services and equipment that I needed. They showed up within 2 hours and even called me ahead of time to double check that I would be there. Once they arrived they checked several things before opening up the unit and then showed me where the electrical part of the system had melted, likely due to a power surge. So it had to be replaced, but they said they could replace the whole system (inside, outside and thermostat) that day. They even got a crane because the outdoor unit is on the roof of my condo unit. The techs were all quick, polite and respectful. They also helped provide photos and documentation should we need to submit a claim to the homeowners insurance company. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. Big thanks to Alex Rodriguez and his team."

He's also maintained my AC for the last 7 years and recently replaced my thermostat. He is also knowledgeable and able to make electrical repairs and wiring. "A year ago they responded to an SOS related to a full A/C failure. They were prompt and professional. It took several days, in the heat of the summer, till they were able to fix it, but they had to get a part from the west coast so we sweated through the ordeal. While they were working on replacing the main board, I also engaged them to clean the system. I thought the charge was high ($1000), but needed it done. A year later, one of the A/C mini-split heads stopped working. They came the next day. I paid $200 for them to trouble shoot it, which took approximately 20 minutes. (Subsequently another A/C service charged me only $95 to trouble shoot!) They said they would order the part and get back to me. After I week, I had not heard from them. When I called they said they could get the part but it would take 4-6 weeks. I said okay. What could I say. I left it in their trustworthy hands. After 6 weeks I heard nothing from them. I called. I left 4 messages, which were all unreturned. On the 5th try, someone answered. He said he couldn't get the part. Would have been nice to know that 5 weeks ago. Still puzzled why they didn't communicate with me and thus the low review. I have to say that I thought they were really nice people, but obviously my business wasn't that important to them. So be it. But a little courtesy and honesty would go a long way when servicing a small community like Key West. Because of the later incident, I wanted to give them an F, but that wouldn't be fair. If you're lucky, have deep pockets, and the problem isn't complicated, they are okay. Just be aware. I thought I had actually found a reliable service, but that wasn't the case."

"I had debated installing a new system for months. I shopped around; looked at reviews; and decided to go with Major League Contracting Services! The owner, Laz, came from Miami to my home in West Delray to give me an estimate. He said my current unit was too small, and that after 12 years it was time to replace it. We agreed on a price, and set an installation day. They came up on a Saturday and installed my new "York 3.5 ton unit." The air handler is in my attic so it was a tad tricky. After a couple of hours the unit was installed! The installers were very quick, informative, knowledgeable, and polite. Laz even came up and explained the work and even offered to file my registration with York. If you want to work with a local company that goes above and beyond to provide excellent service as well as a competitive then Major League Contracting is the company to use. "Mr. Ferrell came to my home and picked up my dinosaur of a computer...a 2005 Dell Desktop.  For all intents and purposes, it was barely running.  If I was lucky, I was able to check my gmail and sometimes send a response.  Mr. Ferrell picked up my computer on his DAY OFF (Friday) and returned it to me on LABOR DAY.  He said that my computer had over 7,000 viruses on it. It was the most he had ever seen!  What I got back from him on Labor Day was the computer I purchased in 2005, but much better.
Mr. Ferrell installed an ENTIRE new operating system, he upgraded my ram, he re-installed his FREE virus protection.  Mr. Ferrell backed and restored ALL of my data.  And, if that was not enough, he updated my hardware system. And, he charged me $125 which I think is an incredible price due to the fact he gave me a BRAND NEW COMPUTER.
Mr. Ferrell is extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient with his time and your money.  I just started using my new computer this week and I am in heaven.  No more viruses...no more waiting 10 minutes to pull up a website...and no more having to pull out all of my cords out of my modem and rebooting my computer.  I am thrilled with the job that Mr. Ferrell did and I would recommend him to anyone.
