"Fantastic work! Fast, easy and professional. These guys know what they are doing. We also used Accurate Insulation last year when we bought the house, and they provided whole-house insulation to add to the original 1965 builder insulation. They were able to provide advice on what would be too much insulation and could cause poor indoor air quality. Would use them again anytime.

"Their plumber came out. He opened up the wall. He fixed the pipe and insulated the pipe. I have been with them for 15 years and they have fixed everything in my house and it never costs me more than $125.00. They don't try to dodge their responsibility. I have recommended them to multiple people."

"John recommended changing our bathroom to a stronger model. He also recommended removing foil insulation on the basement walls. He was very courteous and helpful."

"Home Services - VA installed the a/c line to the dog house within three hours (Home Services - VA had all the tools needed to perform the installation).
Because the distance between the garage and the out building turned out to be longer than 100 feet, Home Services - VA found a way to attach an additional segment of metal wire to extend the length, allowing the zip line to reach the anchor attached to the out building.
We no longer fear reprisals from the next door neighbor for the dog digging under their fence and the dog has access to the a/c during all hours of the day. Because the a/c line is attached to the home heating and air line, the dog house will also have heat in the winter."

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.
It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.
Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
