"This is a lot of references rolled into one. Mitch from The Carpet Store in Sylmar certainly doesn’t have a glossy showroom, but has everything, is a good person and works with a lot of contractors. When I asked for a reference, Mitch said that flooring is the last step on a lot of renovation jobs. The contractor he doesn’t hear complaints about is Tony of TME. I also checked Houzz and the other websites and they say the same thing that I’m saying here. If you can, work with TME. Tony is a human buzz saw. He is always there, works hard, fast, meticulously and at a reasonable cost. That is just great but there is more. It was fun to work with Tony. (His sense of humor can be a real groaner, but, much as I hate to admit it, I’m still smiling.) He is honest, genuinely cares about what you want, the quality of the work and the schedule. He brought in a group of workers who were a pleasure to have in the house and who had been with him for years. I also recommend using his advice. He is smart and experienced and has a very good eye about what is going to work and look good. I had a complicated project. Work was needed on damage from past leaks, mold checking (a science in its own right) and 2 1/2 bathroom remodels. He did everything meticulously to code. The results were just beautiful. Tony became a friend, and I will certainly keep working with him."

"Derek, the owner of Local Home Services, Inc, did an outstanding job for me. I would definitely hire him again in the future. He installed a new LED flourescent light over my kitchen sink in my apartment (something I had been wanting for over a year. He also installed a new switch in my art studio so and a new overhead light fixture that can now be turned on without flickering. He made several trips to Home Depot to find just the right light to install in the middle of the ceiling. In addition, he installed a file closet room. Now I don't have to stand on a chair in the dark to look for things. The total cost for labor and materials was just $492.50. What a deal I highly recommend this company. "Felipe knocked it out of the park again. He found the problem when our initial plumbers had their heads up their #@$%s. Worked on-time, asked our inspection of every aspect, did an immaculate job of tile, and was extremely clean and thorough. Even suggested that we do the job in two stages so we could determine the extent of any damage prior to just jumpingds in like a steer in a china shop. The final paint job looked like nothing was ever wrong. Love the guy and will recommend him to friends and acquaintances. Go Army!"

"Highly recommend. Gil the owner was very patient and accommodating with our project of a new roof. We had to keep rescheduling do to having to have our solar system removed prior to starting the roof and unbeknownst to us, the company was entering bankruptcy and was putting us off for 2 months as we waited with leaks through all the rain due to their financial situation. Originally the solar company installed the system on a roof that should have been replaced prior so they were responsible to have removed on their dime. As soon as we knew the date, they were on it. Getting the required permit & pre-inspection. They started the day after it was removed and finished the roof in the exact amount of days quoted. The solar contractors left all of the brackets on the roof and the wiring which was to have been removed since we got a really bad taste of their service and decided to not to have it put back on. Gil was great about removing everything and still held to the original quote. Can't beat that! And the inspector came to sign off and said his company did a very nice job. We actually received a lower quote but the quote wasn't as detailed in what the scope of work was to be done. Always remember that you usually get what you pay for and usually the cheapest is not the one to go with."
