"I needed 2 backflow preventers replaced , a water heater repaired and a to0ilet repaired. I had a quote from a very famous local plumbing/heating company for $4000! I called Doug for a second opinion and he came in at HALF the price!! and that was AFTER I showed him the first quote! He didn't seem surprised at all about the first quote. Not only was he half the price but he pointed out that my 6 year warranty on my water heater had 6 months left and said I could get a new one thru that warranty for $100!!! He took care of going thru the company getting me the new heater. He completed the job in a few hours. I will NEVER call another plumber again! We also discovered cracks in our waste line and he replaced all of the original cast iron lines in the basement and coordinated with the contractor who replaced our exterior water and sewer lines unexpectedly. "Coastal Plumbing and Heating called us in less than an hour from entering the issue at HomeAdvisor (at 9pm). They asked great questions to assess the issue and gave me a very fair quote. They we're at my home the next morning with the correct replacement water heater and were ready to get to work. The father/son team from Coastal was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and had the job completed in about an hour. I was extremely happy with the whole experience, and they made a bad situation (leaking/burst water heater) right again. Removed the old water heater. Installed the New water heater. And updated the vent piping because it was old and out of code. They did a wonderful job.
