"The S&S team did a great job updating the plumbing in my laundry closet. Our original plumbing was corroding and coming out the floor in the closet, taking up space that didn't allow us to fit a washer all the way inside. The team was able to rip out the old plumbing, install new piping behind the wall and a recessed coupling box in the wall. The price was very reasonable compared to 3 other quotes I did, I would use them again for future work. Thank You!"

Customers say: Quality work
"Pedros is very professional and did an outstanding job at my six unit rental property. The work involved replacing very old cast iron sewage pipes in the basement that many other plumbers refused to do because of the complexity of the job. The job came out perfect and I will be using him from now on for all my plumbing needs. He is very professional!! I plan on using him for all my rental properties."

"I needed a gas dryer to be disconnected before delivery of a new dryer, but initially communicated the wrong date. Angel went out of his way to adjust his schedule on short notice to accommodate the new date. He was a very considerate and pleasant person to deal with, took great care to not make a mess, putting down towels to absorb any water when disconnecting the hoses, and left me with good advice for the new installation. I can wholeheartedly recommend Angel for any plumbing jobs. Pricing was also great."

"Danny, from HL Bowman, quickly understood the scope of the installation and used his expertise to make the installation seamless. As a result, the filtration system he installed is now operating perfectly to remove particulates greater the 5 microns from our well water. I would highly recommend HL Bowman for your plumbing needs. "

"Fantastic service. Had a leak over the weekend and asked if they could come out on Monday morning – they said they’d be there at 9:00 AM and even ended up arriving early! Really nice guy and got the job done very quickly, then checked several times to make sure the issue was resolved. Price was reasonable. Will absolutely recommend to friends — Clark Plumbing & Heating is definitely my new go-to for any plumbing issues I have in the future!"

"Tony was very responsive. He followed up to let me know when the plumber would arrive. The plumber arrived promptly, he was friendly, assessed the situation and gave me options and let me decide which one would work best for me. He explained exactly what was replaced/repaired. I would highly recommend Tony Gideika Plumbing."

"Michael was the amazing team leader who responded immediately to my need to find the source of leaking through my bathroom walls and then organized all the work thereafter. The workman he supplied were easy to work with, pleasant to have in my home, kind to my aging dog... and most important, did quality work.
They restored my living room ceiling which leaking has damaged, replaced the aging floor ( house built in 1900) with new underlay and timber and then tiled. They removed antique cast iron tub, old sink and toilet and replaced them with new sink and toilet and a shower stall. Also created a space next to the shower stall for new washer dryer combination.... all with plumbing and electrical work done by expert workman. I liked the fact that they accepted ideas offered by my son-in-law and also had creative ideas to make it a very satisfying job. Example. There was a closet which they removed... built into the that had been a chest of drawers. The head carpenter carefully removed that, rebuilt it as a stand-alone chest in the bathroom space once occupied by the old tub, rummaged in my barn ( at my invitation) and found perfect boards the do this and build a set of shelves now mounted on the wall.
I absolutely would recommend Michael, his crew and the adjunct electricians and plumbers who worked with him. I am delighted with the finished result.

Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.
A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.
When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.
You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
