"We had three companies come out and give us quotes for replacing our water heater. Ours was from the 80's and so not only did we need a new unit, there was quite a bit of plumbing work that needed to be done getting the unit and venting up to current code. Our tech who came out went above and beyond to walk me through the process, answer all my questions, and brought up points the other companies never mentioned. In the end BF Plumbing was the highest of the three quotes by a couple hundred dollars; however, they also included work in their quote. We received a much longer warranty with their quote and they also took the time to clean up and remove all of the old venting equipment as part of the quote. The tech was always on time, the office was great to work with and they were amazing during the install. He took his time to walk us through everything new after the installation and our basement was more clean after he left than we he got there. A few days later I received a follow up phone call from the office to make sure everything was running smoothly and to ensure the installation went smoothly. All around this was a very professional company. Our tech was amazing - friendly and I really appreciate the time he took to make sure we understood everything. I would highly recommend them to any one!"

"I received a phone call from this company within 10 minutes of submitting the request on Home Advisor and they offered same day service and FREE trip to the house to look at all my plumbing issues and give me an estimate and. We made an appointed the next day. True to their word- free look through my issues and honest advice. Because I needed 3 faucets replaced we made arrangements for the next day installment, and I went shopping to pick fixtures I wanted. They wrote a list of things I would need for install. They came in and did all the installation, and more- I learned I needed 3 shutoff valves replaced too. The great: They were on time, called before each visit to be sure I knew they were coming, kind, honest, and I paid for just the work I needed to have done. I had 2 plumbers- they were a great team and were in and out of my house in 2 hours. Clean- they left the everything spotlessly clean- and I had 3 faucets replaced, 3 shut off valves, and a toilet fill valve. They showed me everything that was wrong with the fixtures I had removed and explained the issues. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars: The 2 men that came to my house were in an unmarked vehicle, clothing without name of company or logo, and asked me to write the check out to them personally- not the company. The receipt was from A&S Plumbing. Hmmm... just made me think they are contractors for A&S? The link posted here is AA Advantange. So I don't know for sure who this linked to. They did not wear booties in the house, but they did stick to primarily walking on hardwood and walked on the carpet only when they had to to get to master bath. They did not carry shut off valves with them- kind of unusual for a plumbing truck, I thought. They ran out to Home Depot to buy them- one worked while the other ran to the store. You should know there is a 5% upcharge if you need to pay with credit card. Overall, I'd use them again. Honesty and good clean work from a plumber is key and they met this expectation."
