"When temperatures dropped to -50 with wind chill, the pipes to our basement bathroom sink froze. And as soon as everything began to thaw, (on Friday night) we found that we had a ruptured hot water pipe. Water was shooting out of the wall all over the bathroom. When it became clear that our usual plumber wasn't going to show up on Saturday, I frantically called half-a-dozen plumbers from Angie's List. Only Charlie got back to me and agreed to show up after his next job. On a day that he was clearly being overwhelmed with calls from all over the city, Charlie kept his word and showed up with his partner Dimitri. They quickly figured out there were no other leaks and repaired the pipe. On top of it, Charlie spotted two other unrelated plumbing issues in our HVAC room. They were minor now but could have turned into bigger problems down the road. His thoroughness and attention to detail allowed him to spot these hidden problems and save us headaches down the road. We had our water working in under an hour (on a Saturday evening!) and he charged a very fair price given the demands upon his time. He left our house at 5pm, his phone blowing up from other customers. I asked if he was going to have an end to the day soon, but he said he still had hours to go...he had promised other worried homeowners that he would help them today. "Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. Over time with experience I have gained trust in Mattco Plumbing to get me out of big jams with the plumbing in this old building. Just recently Matt repaired the 2nd floor toilet drain line in the ceiling above my 1st floor bathroom in a very tight spot. "Sunday March 28, 2021 I had the pleasure of working with Aqua Doctors Plumbing at 1304 Eastview Drive Waukegan, IL 60085. At home there were two (2) small gas leaks at connection points with my furnace and the stove. They were the first to reply when I initiated the request for quotes on Saturday 3/27. They scheduled an appointment for the next day between 11-1 pm. They arrived at the beginning of the window of time they quoted (yippee). I was prepared to provide shoe covers due to the pandemic. They were respectful of safety measures and had their own shoe covers and masks in hand already. Bravo! Chris and Rob were very good at providing and explanation of services to be rendered. "My tub is clogged. The two gentlemen came to my home. They were very professional spoke very well. They put the snake machine down the hole of the tub and within 10 minutes. They pulled out a lot of black hair, long hair and soap. I’m really glad these two individuals came over to fix my tub because it was full of water. I don’t have before pictures but look all the water is gone thank you guys for unclogging my bathtub. Hope you guys continue to prosper and get many business from other people like us."
