"Excellent initial consultation with Ryan M. Careful COVID-19 prevention measures. Thorough and knowledgeable explanation of all options. Provided a quote that did not change throughout the entire process. Scheduled an installation appointment about 6 weeks later. We requested a change order that was dealt with expeditiously. Installers arrived on at the day and time as promised. Jon B. and Chris G. were professional and skilled. Demolition debris had to be removed by carrying it throughout our entire house and when finished, they left everything immaculate. Job involved a significant amount of demolition, re-routing of plumbing, addition of walls, water proofing an existing window, and installation of a walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. Again, professional in all aspects. Would hire again in a minute."

"Thadd consulted myself and my husband before starting the work to go over our options. He was quick, courteous, and cleaned up after himself. The cost of the repair was reasonable. The only very minor complaint I have is that he did not call when he was running late (more than 30 minutes). However, next time I have a plumbing project, Ernstmeyer Plumbing Co. is the company I will use."

"I initially had a poor interaction with Mike that did not result in solving the above plumbing problem above. However, he has since connected with me and resolved the issue fairly. He did an excellent job the first time I hired him (successfully unclogging a tub drain). Even though the second time we hired him was not successful (and we had to hire a second plumber to resolve the problem) we will use him in the future because he reached out to resolve our concerns in a professional manner.

"They did a very good job. I was having siding put on and the contractors broke one of the pipes for the outside faucets as they were working on the siding which then caused the leak in the basement. So the contractor who was doing the work, his insurance covered it. He bore the cost of some of the lost property but all things considered it was a lot worse. They seemed to know what they were doing. They seemed to have a strong knowledge of what needed to be done. They reacted very promptly. I thought they would start in the morning but one of them showed up like 2 AM and they did not wait till morning they just started working. They did a very good job of what they did. They handled it well. They were very good in telling us what steps were going to be taken and what is going to happen next. They kept us well informed of what the process was going to be. Price wise to me, it did not apply directly. The contractor picked up the price however I did see the cost and frankly I thought it was high. I was surprised by the amount. I never have had that kind of work done before. I am a little old fashioned and behind the times as my wife says, may be that is the going rate. To me I thought the pricing is a bit high. I would definitely consider this company in the future. It was my choice to pick the company but I then presented them to the contractor and it was his decision to go with them or not because it was his insurance that was going to pick up the price. Frankly if it was my cost I think I would be a little alarmed. Eventually I would have gone back to them if their pricing was in line with other people. My initial thought was shock. Again part of it could be that they were making a service call at 1 AM and the rates for emergency calls are higher at that point. They did a very good job on coming here, doing the job, and knowing what they were doing. I just thought they were very expensive. But again it was no cost to me. It sounds like they get into very sophisticated clean ups and because of that the personnel they have, the equipment that they use and if you are into a lot of chemical clean ups the price will be high. But a basement flooding with a broken pipe does not require the skilled personnel or equipment that they normally they use. I am very happy with the result. The only thing that I would say about the cost is I don’t know what the cost is as this was the first time in my life time I had water in the basement. So I don’t know."

It depends on the severity of the leak. Minor leaks may not require immediate attention and can be scheduled during regular business hours. However, if the leak is causing significant water damage or you can't control the flow of water, it's best to call an emergency plumber right away. Addressing serious leaks promptly can prevent structural damage and mold growth, potentially saving you money on extensive repairs later.
