"The company replied quickly and gave an estimate as requested. We were quoted for 2 new shut offs and 3-5 replacement shut offs. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. Sharkbite valves were installed. If I knew they were going to be used, I would have done the work myself. The plumber was proficient with the Sharkbites, I just expected that a pro plumbing company would solder. When the plumber left, there were no leaks, and I didn?t feel like making an issue of the other 2 valves which I wanted installed."

"Tankless was actually recommended by a plumbing supply company who did not do service anymore. My 13 year old Takagi (rare brand) stopped producing hot water consistantly, sometimes yes, sometimes no. They came out the next day, serviced the unit and charged $250 for the two person visit, which I guess is about what others would charge. The unit seems to run fine and they were fine to deal with over the phone. Of course, like any other company, they suggested I get a new unit from them, but I think I will give it a few more years before I get rid of it. But when I do, I will call them."
