"We were very satisfied with the work. Ours is a story and a half home, so some of the surfaces were quite high and difficult to reach. We also had a significant amount of wood rot needing carpentry repair. About 2/3 of our cost was attributable to the painting and 1/3 for carpentry. We had asked four contractors for estimates. One declined to bid, saying the job was too big for them. Of the other three estimates, White Dog and one other were nearly exactly equal and the third estimate was 50% higher. Our estimate was done by Ron Scott and the job was managed by Noah Scott. Most of the work, both painting and carpentry, was done by two brothers, James and Moise. Occasionally they had another man or two for assistance. Noah was helpful in our decisions about the paint colors and quality. All the work was professionally done with much time and care spent in replacing wood rot with 1x6 cedar trim along the sides and back of the house and over the rooflines. Approximately 50 batten boards were replaced. All was carefully sealed and primed before the paint was applied. The paint job included stucco surfaces in the front of the house, which were painted a color different from the wood siding. The job took about 6 days in total. Each night the crew picked up tools, equipment and supplies and either took it with them or left it neatly stored on the property. No mess was left around at any time."

I am a first time home owner and he consulted with his opinion utilizing his professional experience so that I could explore my options-which I am grateful for. He gave me an estimated time of finish and even worked early/late to ensure that he kept to his promise. He was very respectful of my home and made sure that he cleaned up after himself and put things back where they were- he was cautious and didn't hesitate to ask questions if he wanted to verify something. He took the time to point out the flaws that the previous owners had made and was sure to show me the results that he was able to provide in the end- which were amazing. He corrected wall and paint errors and said that if I something I feel I need fixed- to give him a call and he would be willing to correct to my satisfaction. I am very satisfied with my results and would hire A.W Painting LLC again or recommend him to my family and friends. I plan to have the exterior painted next summer and I will be contacting A.W Painting LLC again!"

"We hired Sissi company to first remove mold from our roof shaded by a big tree. Lewis did a great job and sprayed chlorine in the end to kill the mold that were hard to remove. We then hired him to paint our outside wooden wall. Lewis painted quite carefully and respected and accommodated our requests. After this work done, he did basement waterproofing project for us as well. It saved our basement from flooding during this winter. In the end, Lewis also fixed our water sink sewage pipe and several lights in the house. Lewis is also a very friendly guy and he charged reasonably. I strongly recommend him."

"Person arrived very much later than expected and I didn't feel respected by him. Was told the weather needed to be warmer for the repair to be done. Understandable as it was extremely cold. Also said I needed a cover on the bricks at the top of the chimney walls. However I don't know that I will have them come do the work as I didn't get a very good "feeling" about the person giving the estimate. Also, $500. seemed a bit steep. I haven't had the work done yet, so am still debating whether to have this company do the actual work."
