"Let me start off by saying Ross and Miloway PipeWorks are awesome! Last Tuesday 02/16/2021 I woke up without running water I initially called Bouldin Bros to come look at it because thats the only person I could think of at the time. They came out and told me I needed a new well pump, pitless adapter, and pipe running in to my house and it was going to cost just under $6,000! I of course told them I could not do that today I would have to see what I could do so they left. I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing after that and they came out on Saturday 02/20/2021 only to not look at anything and tell me I needed to call a well drilling company and still charged me for the service call even when they did nothing. Finally last night I was on the internet and filled out an inquiry for well repair on home advisor and within less than 30 minutes Ross called me he was gonna swing by my house then and take a look. Upon looking he said all I needed was a new well Pump and he squeezed me in this morning at 8AM. The job ended up costing me under $2,000 and now I have running water! I will definitely use Miloway pipeworks again and I encourage everyone else too as well; Bouldin bros and Benjamin Franklin plumbing are ripping people off."

"Very quick to respond. Eager to schedule. Work was done both in a professional manner and one that helped to calm a distressed situation. Angel took the time to discuss, educate, and ensure that we were well-informed of the work that he did remarkably well."

"Listened to our leak issues as well as minor fixture issues. All noow well"

"Ben Franklin Plumbing in Wilmington ,De is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with for installation or repair services."

"Was honest and friendly. Gave me options as to how to handle my problem. Didn't try and force anything on us. Knowledgeable and professional. Got us out of a holiday nightmare with quick service. Will use their service when we fix the well permanently. Highly recommend."

Sink was COMPLETELY stopped up. Service person (Doug) seemed to be nice; first emptying the sink of water, then getting out his snake to get to work. Shortly, from another room, I heard moans and groans from the kitchen. Asking what was wrong, I learned that his snake had gotten stuck and he couldn't get it out. He went downstairs to the basement to work on trying to retrieve the snake cable from the cleanout down there, below the sink. He told me that on occasion, he's had to take out pipes between the kitchen sink and the basement sewer line in order to get his cable back, and that would cost upwards of above $600. He eventually retrieved his cable, but explained that it had gotten stuck because I had allowed the buildup of years and years of grease in the kitchen, and because I was foolish enough to have a garbage disposal, which allows the grease to build. He told me he had a drain cleaning powder that I could use to keep the drain clean, and one box would cost $50. I thanked him, but refused the offer. He did make it so the water would indeed go down the drain in the sink, now, and I can use my dishwasher. He was at the house for approximately 1 hr and 15 minutes, charging $457.50. Excessive, in my opinion. It's not my fault that his snake was caught (if it really was).

Is the drain clean? Cleaner than it was this morning, yes.

Will water go down? Yes. For now.

Would I recommend anyone using Chas. Moon Plumbing? Not unless you have a healthy bank account.

Will I ever call on them again? No.

UPDATE:

Moon & Company called today (Service Manager) and graciously offered a 15% discount for the service that I had here at the house, as described above. I thought that was very nice and generous of him/the company, and promised that I would report same.

"The servicemen were knowledgeable and professional and did an excellent job with removal of the old water heater, picking up the new water heater and expansion tank at Home Depot and installing it promptly."

"Matt is one of the best servicemen we have ever had need for. He is very personable, knowledgeable, takes the time to answer any questions you might have, and does a thorough job. I don't usually commend a skilled tradesman as much as I have Matt. He deserves it. The project was completed on time and Matt cleaned up the work site very well. We will call Air Temp if we need service in the future. It was a pleasure doing business with him."

"y water was down t drip. I canned for service at 7:30 am they answered and were very friendly and made sure they understood my situation. The service team arrived by 10:30 am that was amazing. They assessed the issues and as i expected it was my well pump. The gave me a price within minutes and much to my surprise didn't have to go get a pump but had one on the truck. After replacing it it was found that the water blatter was not working. had on of them on the truck also. The entire team was very nice and answered all my curious questions. Outstanding service! Thanks"

"They did the job well and on time and for a reasonable price."
