"The float alarm went off for our septic tank on a Sunday. This alarm indicates that our septic system is no longer discharging and that the level in the tank is rising.   Our local septic tank cleaner does not do repairs, but they indicated that since our pump has been going for over ten years, they suspected it was time to replace the pump.
Early Monday morning I called Shankster Plumbing and was greeted by a pleasant and efficient lady.  She told me what the potential problems might be and approximately how much those corrections would cost. The estimate was for replacing the pump  was about $1000.   I was told that Steve would call me later that morning to confirm what the problems might be and he did. 
A little bit after noon, he came to our home, asked appropriate questions, and had me turn off the circuit breaker controlling  the septic tank.  Steve then opened and checked our septic tank.  He discovered that it was simply an issue of our floats becoming loose.  He reattached the floats.  This was obviously the easiest fix we could have imagined, and we appreciated his honesty.  I was charged travel time and an hour's labor.  Everything about Steve Shankster and his company was professional: polite, timely response, knowledgeable, honest, and fair.

"Kilo Plumbing is a real true professional that service all Ft. Wayne areas, so i highly recommend them. Offered 3 year warranty on labor, battery, & my backup battery-operated sump pump. Plumber Chance is unique because he welcomes & answers all questions you have about the project. I paid $1800 to install sump pump & reassemble pipes for better water flow, not for code compliance that I thought that he said would cost $3k or $4,000 that seems too much based on my research & other pluming co. He had to come back days later to fix a leaky pipe he worked on. So far, sump pump & pipe are in good condition."

He installed our 3-stage water filtration system (US Water sediment, carbon, and Pulsar UV) with an existing softener, a new water heater, and fixed two shower leaks (one drain, one valve). In all of these, he efficiently evaluated each system and made the necessary updates. This was working with a plumbing system originally installed in the 1980s. Fair pricing, and very professional. We highly recommend him."

"***Update*** I dont want to delete what I wrote but I am going to update my score because of two points. The work done was EXCELLENT and the company and its technicians admitted to shortfalls and apologized profusely. I think highly of anyone that can admit to a problem and work at fixing it. I wont give them a 5 for customer service but I am going to move it up to a 4. I sincerely thank them for how great they did on the actual job. It was very well done. The actual work was done with a high degree of professionalism. On the other hand the technicians have NO customer service skills, to the point of being absolutely rude. We have cameras in our house (we were not home at the time of the work) and they made comments around the house about how strange we were for watching them and also made rude comments about the quality of lights in our house. When talking to them on the phone when the work was done I said thank you 4 times and didnt even get as much as a no problem. Might not be important to some if the work quality is good but since I have had other technicians come in and do a good job AND give good customer service I will try hard to find someone else to do the jobs in the future. It's not cheap to get electrical work done and there are a lot of options. The next time we will choose someone else."

"Very professional and well-done work to perform repairs to 4 cracks that were leaking from previous repairs and repaired multiple rod holes in foundation. Many of which either were actively leaking prior to repairs or showing signs of leaking soon. The tech, Randy, had previously not been out to site before for quote. But took the time prior to starting any work to go over the proposal and review all work that was expected to be performed to verify his and my expectations were both in alignment. About halfway through the job had me re-verify that all rod holes that were previously identified and discussed were being addressed. Did a great job performing clean up and stayed later than expected to fully complete the job instead of calling it a day in the middle of the work. Would highly recommend Stay Dry to others for work to repair foundation cracks and rod hole leaks."

"Nick from PG Plumbing was prompt, friendly, and thorough when I called to have a broken toilet fixed. While he was there, I mentioned that my shower wasn’t getting very hot, and he immediately looked into the plumbing and fixed some of the settings. When checking the shower after making the adjustments, he noticed that the sink faucets were crooked and let me know that he could fix them easily, as well. I’ve also been wanting a reverse osmosis water filter for the whole house, which he said he could do, and even walked me through more affordable alternatives. The price for the reverse osmosis system was far less than I expected, so I ended up going with that. I decided to change the look of the faucets and shower head too, and he helped me understand what options I needed to look for in order to work with our plumbing and will be back to install them all. Everything was so easy and affordable, I will definitely be using PG Plumbing again in the future."
