"Hired Bapst because our pump stopped working. They were quick to respond. The professional was very pleasant and went straight to work. We thought it was the pump, it turned out to be just the tank switch. It had gone out in a storm and it just needed reset. We knew nothing about it. The man showed us how to reset it if it should ever happen again. He also explained everything to us so we could understand and if we need any other well service Bapst is who we will call."

"A radon test was performed in my home by another company and the results indicated a need to install a radon mitigation system. Radon Be Gone came out and reviewed the test results. Shad, the owner, then performed a full evaluation of the basement and attic to determine how best to remedy the situation. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and provided a work estimate.
Once the estimate was agreed to, the work was scheduled to be performed the following week. A three man crew arrived to perform the work (on time). The work included installing an exhaust fan in the attic, connected to the existing passive radon pipe installed by the home builder; sealing the entire perimeter, expansion joints and flooring cracks in the basement; installing a port window in the sump pump lid and then sealing it; and installing the air flow gauge in the basement.
The crew worked quickly and neatly and cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in about an hour. As expected, a radon test kit was set up again to monitor the radon level in the house over a three day period.
Shad returned to recover the radon test kit three days later. He reviewed the work his crew completed and again answered a few questions that I had. My primary concern was that the fan running in the attic was a little loud. He suggested giving it a few days to see if I adjusted to the fan noise and to see what the results of the new radon test were. He offered to swap out the fan for a smaller one at no additional charge if the fan noise was unacceptable.
Within 24 hours I had the final results of the radon test, which ended up being well below the EPA recommended level. The white noise of the fan settled down, or I just got used to it, so no further work was required.
I did a fair amount of research before having anyone come out to provide a work estimate, so I knew what to expect. What impressed me the most about Radon Be Gone is that all EPA requirements were followed in providing an estimate and completing the work. A contractor should never provide a work estimate for radon mitigation without a visual inspection of the property. One other company that I called for an estimate did just that, going as far to say there was no need to see the property before beginning the work.
I was impressed with Radon Be Gone from start to finish and believe they are honest and provide a quality service.

"Everything went smoothly from the estimate of work we received from Jerry to solve our problem right down to the crew that came to do the work. They arrived promptly and were very professional in their work. Sanders, the foreman, explained to us what work was being done and updated us as the work progressed putting in the drain tile, installing the weep hole cove protection and re-cementing the basement floor. He was very professional in answering our questions about the work being performed. They were very cautious in covering up our things with plastic to protect against the "dust" when the concrete was removed to expose the floor for the drain tile and cleaned up very well when the work was completed - both in the basement and in the driveway.
