"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I have received multiple compliments on the appearance of the roof, trim , and house. The worked was performed as they promised and then some. They were careful about not destroying or damaging landscaping. They left the worksite clean and in good appearance each day. The business owner and his associates visited the worksite daily and supervised the crews. If I mentioned anything that needed special attention it was taken care of immediately. They saw little things that needed to be repaired during their work that we did not initially anticipate, they fixed these at no cost."

The two Duraplex roofers showed up on time as expected, to repair a roof valley which had been leaking during heavy ice/snow buildup last winter.  Upon removing the shingles in the roof valley, the roofers placed a rain/ice barrier along the entire length of the valley, before nailing down new GAF shingles. The roofers also discovered a vent pipe that had flashing installed incorrectly, which they corrected - at no extra charge to me.

Upon finishing up with the valley repair, Duraplex also had the roofers caulk several nails that were exposed on other sections of the roof, which he had identified as potential future sources for leaks, during the initial examination of the roof condition.

Overall, I was impressed with the professionalism of the team that Duraplex used to make the repairs on may roof, and the fact that Duraplex did not charge me extra when the roof repair took more squares of GAF shingles than what he originally estimated for the repair.

They were the most competitive and fair in pricing of all the solicited bids, and answered the questions I had in a prompt and courteous fashion. "This was my 3rd contractor to call...- Initial phone call was answered immeadiately, appointment was set for the following day. He arrived 5 minutes prior to the appointment, he did a complete inspection, he typed a 4 page proposal including a complete diagram of my house in his vehicle, then he went over every detail with me. He offered a 30 year workmanship warranty and a protection plan for 5 years, he comes out once a year for the first five years to inspect and remove any debri from the roof like leaves or limbs. Every other contractor only has a 2 year workmanship warranty. He also gave me a free ridge vent system. He then helped me choose a color based on the exterior colors of my home. We then signed a contract which he explain every paragraph to me as we read it together. I gave him a deposit. We then set an appointment for installation 3 days later. Mr. Jewell and his employees arrived at 7 a.m. on the the 4th of June. My roof was completely installed by 4 p.m. I have 6 large flowers beds in the front yard then 2 wrap around flower beds from the back all the way around the sides up to the front, and none of my shrubs or flowers were affected at all. When they left you could not find any trash or debri from the roof to suggest I even had my roof replaced. Very Very clean, still haven't seen a nail. Friday I contacted Mr. Jewell and paid him the remaining balance. Yesterday, I received a bouqet of flowers and a thankyou card delivered to my door by a local florist from Aqua Roofing... I highly recommend them... I'm happy to be able to write a review on them."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
