"Everything went as expected with the inspection, testing and consultation. We have a home built in 1970 and were concerned about what asbestos exists and wanted to understand our options to mitigate."

"I decided to wait until I could save the $800 for that project. beside, its in my basement and a small amount."

"Overall, Tom was personable, professional, and he got the job done fairly easily. I trusted his judgment in what kind of mounting hardware to use into the wall -- which was probably the one issue I had with how things went. Mr Handyman only provides their labor; the customer needs to provide ALL materials, which initially was challenging because the guy that I spoke to on the phone said that I had to wait until their guy arrived to even know what parts to get! He said the handyman would tell me what to get, and I'd need to go to the store -- while the guy is at my house -- and get the mounting hardware! (As a side note ... who would leave their house with someone they don't know inside it?). But then when I protested on the phone, he suggested I go to Home Depot and ask them, and get what they suggested (which made me wonder ... I'm hiring them for THEIR knowledge, right??). So my solution, which was the least painful in my mind, was to go to the hardware store and buy multiple different mounting options, and have them available for their guy to choose from (after which, I'll take the ones he didn't use back to the store). The only other point was the price, which, to explain ... Mr Handyman is a bit on the high side, because they charge for a full hour in addition to their service fee, even though Tom was only actually working at my house for about 30-40mins."

"The install went well, they did a real nice job, cleaned up good too. My only complaint was it took about two months from the time I paid the deposit, until they did the installation. I am assuming it was because of the steel tariffs and they can't get the product as quick."

"I was looking to get a quote for having the siding on my home repaired. Jeff explained that A-1 Vinyl doesn't do repairs, but he was super helpful and took the time to talk to me about my project even though he knew I wouldn't be hiring him. Nice to talk to someone who was straightforward instead of someone trying to sell me on something my home didn't need."

"Replaced siding one side of house from hail damage and repaired trim work damaged by garage. Good price and excellent work. Good communication from start to finish."

"Darrul was professional, communicative, efficient, and personable during the inspections of both properties. He arrived 15 minutes before scheduled inspection, wore shoe coverings during in-home inspection to avoid tracking, and gave honest advice about home improvement. A full report was ready by day's end with detailed photos identifying areas that needed attention."

"John & Johnny arrived on time, estimated 4.5 to 5.5 hours and finished within time frame.
Cleaned up what little mess they made.
Meticulous workmanship, straight even lines matched up with undamaged siding.
