"We have a half-moon window in the guest bedroom that we wanted to tint to decrease the amount of heat and sunlight that floods the room. When I first spoke to Robert, he was very cheerful and easy-going on the phone. I am pleased to say that his countenance wasn't any different in person. Robert gave us several options and answered our questions. We opted to place the darker tint without the security film as our windows are new and meets the current hurricane standard for our area. When Robert arrived at our home, he took his shoes off and placed a drop cloth on the floor to prevent any damage or staining to our carpets. He was professional, courteous and gives the impression that he cares for his customers and service that he provides. I would have given him all "A's" but he was late getting to our home. However, in fairness to him, he did call and texted to let me know that he was running behind. I would rehire Robert without hesitation. The amount we paid was less than the quote from one of the "big box chain stores". The window tinting matches the factory tint of the window below it flawlessly. We are extremely happy! B. Shiggs"

"I contacted Sunrise Roofing Services for a roof replacement. Karel gave me an estimate was thorough, timely, and to the penny accurate. He explained the entire process including providing insurance and license information. He installed a tarp to prevent any further leaks into my house (no additional cost). The project was delayed because I was out of town so we agreed to a no earlier than start date. When I returned they started the project within one day of that date. They showed up on time (exactly) and I ask to see the permit. They pointed to my front door where they had posted it prior to ringing the bell. I was impressed. The old roof was removed and Florida required nailing patterns completed (including the nailing affidavit). The decking was repaired. A new underlayment, roof, vents, skylights, and flashings were installed. Cleanup was thorough. All of this was completed in one day including local building permit inspections. The following day the owner, Maria Flores, came by for payment. She came prepared with Lien release forms, warranty information, affidavit of contractors final payment as well as an invoice. We settled up while discussing her business. I relayed to her the things that impressed me most. 1. She has an actual place of business (not working out of her house like too many contractors) 2. No down payment required. 3. All of the roof installers are employees (not day workers). 4. All the paperwork was completed and presented in a timely manner. 5. Her employees are top notch. Installing a roof in the summertime in Florida is brutal. They probably deserve a raise. 6. Her company is a certified installer of the CertainTeed roofing line of products. I verified this with CertainTeed prior to contracting her. Maria was cordial, well prepared, and thorough. I found that she runs a professional business with good people and would have no problem recommending her to everyone."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

"I had 4 leaks in my roof 2 of them were very extensive, I placed a call with Mr. Woods and he met me the very next day, we discussed the best plan of action that would repair the leaks and he sent me an estimate 2 days later.  I was very pleased he gave me 2 options of the type of repair and we discussed the benefits and shortcomings of both, I received the updated quote and work was started 2 days later.  The day the roofers showed up they were prompt and professional and even allowed me to go up on the roof to see the damage myself, and explained what they were doing and assured me it would be fixed the first time.  Mr. Woods even worked with me on some side repairs that I wanted to get done and was very fair on his pricing for materials and labor.  The roofers were able to finish the repairs in one week even though it rained on them every single day, and while it rained they were kind enough to cover the leaks they hadn't gotten to with a tarp to keep the damage to a minimum.  I am very happy with Mr. Woods and his crew and will recommend and use them again in the future."

"George Sprague came and fixed my a leak in my in my skylight. Several other companies could not fix it. Mr. Spague was friendly,informative, Extremley proffersional . He cleaned up leaving no trash for me to have to worry about. He even sweeped when I told him I would get it.
I highly recommend George. Anyone with any roofing problems call George first. Don't waste your time on anyone else

"Their services rate about 50/50.  I wasn't disappointed with it, but I wasn't pleased with it either. They came after we had some high winds. They charged me $200 over what the deal through Angie's List was.  They had to fix part of my roof where I had a Direct TV antenna.  It's hard for me to grade the price because I'm not a roof expert.  So they charged me and I paid it.  What I'm saying is I wasn't satisfied with it.  It took them 5 minutes to remove the antenna.  So far we haven't had any rainfall so I don't know whether it's leaking or not.  I wasn't happy with them at all.  The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing.  One day a guy told me someone would be here between 8 and 5 and they never showed up. This is the first time I've had any experiences with roofers.  I don't want to degrade anybody, but I don't want to be taken advantage of either."
