"The bathroom entailed extensive work new floor, cabinets, walls, plumbing and electrical. His work was excellent and whenever there was a problem he took pains in explaining to us what the problem was and how he had fixed it. The out side professionals ie. electrician, plumbery, and plasterers he brought in were the best I,''ve encountered.
The front porch in a 90 year aldose posed some  problems. First we found that there were no footings underneath the front section of the porch. Kirt showed us the problem gave us the best options to remedy it and then fixed it. All the other work he has done has been top quality and to highest professional standards.
About 10 years ago we had a contractor re do a kitchen and bathroom. It was our first experience at remodeling and we thought we had done our home work. It turned out to me a long night maire. In contrast working with Kirt has been a positive experience and he will be the one I call for futher remodeling.
Some of the things about Kirt that the bid amount never tells you that put him in a class of superior professional are:
He is always on time and if there is a delay he contacts you and explains why.
He goes to pains to explain what a problem is and what can/needs to be done to fix it correcrly. He does not do junk work . It is either done right or he will not do it.
In a couple of cases it was almost comical when he would go over something explaining the problem and I honestly could not tell there was any thing that was not perfect. Ie. As our house is 90 years old one would expect that very little would be plumb or squarer. When putting in the back splash in the bathroom even the new walls were not perfectley plumb, so there was a slight hight difference in one end to the another. Kirt had to point this out to us but I still can't see it. What a professional!"

"Overall I believe it went very well. I found Delegat that Dirt on Angie's List on Wednesday, 11/30 and Michelle came out the same day to look at the house, review the work I wanted done, and provide an estimate. The work was scheduled for the upcoming Saturday afternoon, 12/3. I was pleased that they would come on Saturday as I had a gathering planned at my house for the evening. There was another first time job planned for the same morning so Michelle could give only an approximate arrival time of 1pm. At about 10am, Saturday, I received a call that the first job might be a while and Michelle asked if she could send someone over about 11am to get started in the lower level. A very pleasant and well prepared young lady showed up shortly after 11am and went right to work.

The timing of the job did not go as originally thought primarily due to the length of the first job however Michelle and another employee eventually showed up and the three of them did a very good job. Most impressive for me: the shower stall in the master bath had stained and the bathtub had an area that always looked dirty because of an adhesive nonslip mat that had been removed. Michelle was able to clean both extremely well, no more stains or adhesive marks.

After 1-1/2 years of working very long hours and being too tired to give the house cleaning full attention, it was great to see how nice it looked when they were done. I have scheduled for another cleaning in two weeks.

Additionally - even though it took longer than anticipated, the orginal quote of $95 was what I paid.
