"Actually Richie Wallcovering was the only professional that showed up when I asked for someone to hang wallpaper. They responded quickly to my request, we worked out the quote via text based on the size of the space I was having covered. Scheduled and did the work promptly and professionally. Very pleased to have it done before my furniture arrives!"

"Jeff and his crew were outstanding. They arrived promptly, prepared each room before painting and painted five rooms and two hallways in 2 1/2 days. They were friendly, very neat and my condo looks fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for more. I would highly recommend Jeff and his crew and would definitely hire them again, should the need ever arise. Thanks Jeff and crew ~ great job!!"

"They did a great job. Very quickly for a very reasonable price. The only thing I did not like that much was that they used the fabric covers (big sheets of fabric) to cover the floor and they were pretty dusty (I guess from their previous work). I would advice them to use either disposable paper or plastic or wash the fabric cover if they get dusty."

"Beside using Smart Choice Painting to clean and repair my gutters and downspouts, they also painted my kitchen and living room . The jobs were difficult for various reasons - very high ceiling in the living room and wallpaper on the walls and ceiling of the kitchen that had to be removed before painting - but the finished product in both rooms was really excellent . I was very happy and enjoyed working with the owner Isaias and the team of young men that he sent to my home - including the team leader Pablo. I will definitely use them again ."

"Juan has been a pleasure to work with. He managed to squeeze into our tight timeline to get the work done, even when we had to add some unexpected additional work (patching walls). His paint work is flawless, the only drawback was that some larger patchwork was less then ideal, but again with time constraints and this work coming as unplanned, can't really complain. I will definitely work with Juan again when the need arises and I would gladly recommend him to anyone else."

"Robert Axt is a total professional. He always responded to phone calls. If he was going to be late(never really more then a 1/2 hour) he called. He worked with us and our schedule. Robert repaired our wallpaper and where he removed paper he did a great job of painting. His work was clean, accurate and the work was done really well. He also is a very nice man. We will be working with him again. The only thing we would suggest is that he covers his work shoes with booties."

"I found Ray thru Home Advisor. Needed someone to remove the wallpaper in my son's bedroom and paint the entire room. Ray contacted me promptly to schedule a time for a free estimate. I was pleased with the estimate provided and hired him for the job. Following Christmas he removed all the wallpaper, prepped/fixed the walls, painted the entire room within 2 1/2 days. Ray is accommodating, personable, showed up on time each morning, cleaned up after working, removed the wallpaper with ease, and was meticulous in painting. I have more wallpaper to remove and painting to be accomplished in the spring...so we plan on doing more business with Ray in the near future."

"We were not pleased with the work of this company.  While the price is right, there were so many things that went wrong on the job that I'm not sure if I can remember all of them.
First of all, when I hire a painter, my assumption is that they will work on my job only until the project is complete.  This was not the case.  The painters left the job for days on end, being called to other locations.  The work was sloppy in numerous places - we had to keep calling them back to correct things.  I also had bedroom furniture damaged when the workers moved my end tables to another room - they didn't take the care necessary to protect them.  Walls under light covers/cable covers were not painted - they were left the original color of the rooms.  My bedroom wall has cracked in one place already - as they didn't do the repair needed in that area evidently to prevent that from happening.  Paint has chipped in other areas - something which should not happen so soon after completion.
At exterior painting they also didn't take care to protect elements of the home properly.  I had paint spatter covering newly installed railings at my front walkway, stains applied incorrectly on wood lattice which they installed (numerous empty areas - should have used a spray gun for that or painted it before installation), totally ruined my exterior balcony door with using too thick a layer of paint on it.  There were paint brush hairs all over the door as well, paint on screens (why they weren't removed or covered is beyond me), spattered paint on a custom mailbox, and the same on our house number plaque.
There is more, but I'll just leave it at it was an extremely sloppy job which took literally WEEKS to complete and I was told it would take less than 1 week.
While there were some circumstances that made the job take longer (some weather related and some of his workers having personal problems), the amount of errors exceeded what would be considered excusable.
The only good thing I can say is that from far away, the house looks ok and, the owner Phil (others mention a different name, not sure why) tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this.

"Jose did a great job, painted our dining room and added wainscoting to the walls. Looks great, someone that saw his work already reached out to have Jose work on his home. Panted garage and a nursery. Very happy, would hire again."
