"Once the ground thawed, we noticed a "spring" of water coming up from the ground.  We thought a pipe may have busted during the unusually cold winter.  We contacted CJ Welling after business hours.  They were very polite and told us what the next steps should be.  They said they would see if they could get out the next morning.  Around 7:30am we saw a guy marking the properties from 811 Dig and around 8am a 2 man crew arrived with heavy equipment and ready for work.  They had to dig up the yard to get to the well and replace the pipe.  They also had to get into the crawlspace to work as well.  He showed me things about our water softener and compression tank that I did not know before to help with pressure in the house.  I feel like they went above and beyond.  They worked hard without any breaks.  Considering it was a whole day and they had to use the heavy machinery, I felt like $1200 was a great price.  The entire process was easy and professional and would recommend reaching out to them.  If we need work again, we will certainly call them.

"They sent an HVAC person rather then a plumber. The HVAC service tech explained some useful things but noted that I needed a plumber."

"Excellence plumbers Griffin B Issac C did a wonderful job we are extremely impressed."

"The work was completed as stated in the contract. Two men came in the morning and removed the cast-iron tub and old surround, changed the plumbing, installed the new walk-in shower and surround, hauled away old materials and cleaned up so bathroom was clean and usable when the job was completed. Just a note that there was about an inch difference between the front wall and the back wall of the shower so the new surround had to be cut accordingly which gave a perfect fit. The men were very professional and enjoyable to get along with!"

"Very happy with my new Liberation walkin tub.I also love the special toilet. They also installed a sink/vanity for me. I recommend them if you want quality work."

"My installer John was fantastic. He did an amazing job and I am so pleased with his attention to detail and the way it all turned out. With my home being almost 100 years old nothing is plum or square. He was so caring and took his time and it came out beautifully. I am so glad John was my installer he is amazing."

"He did a few projects for me like installing a water softener and improving my overall plumbing, but he came over and saved my bacon when my pipes froze. Was honest and fair as well."

"The sales representative arrived promptly at the scheduled time and gave me the opportunity to explain what was going on and what work I needed done. After doing so, he went down into the crawlspace for a while and did a thorough inspection. Compared to a few other companies I had out, I do commend Indiana Foundation Service for the level of detail during the inspection, from taking a humidity reading to even pointing out a very minor plumbing leak that I had. Up until this point everything was going great, but after wrapping up the crawlspace inspection, things gradually changed and it felt more like a sales presentation then figuring out a solution that works best for the customer. Nevertheless, the solutions initially presented were very solid and appealing and thus I was willing to put up with the sales representative's spiel as long as in the end the price was fair and I was comfortable with the level of professionalism and quality of the work. After finally getting to the pricing, despite it being a little on the high side, I am not one that is opposed to paying slightly more for quality.  However, it was during the negotiation that things quickly turned south in my mind. The sales representative used high pressure tactics, agreeing to reduce the price by around $1500 only if I signed a contract that very moment. This was an extreme turn off as I wasn't sure I wanted to do business with a company that resorted to such hard sell techniques. However, with an understanding of state law (allowing for contracts to be cancelled within 3 days), I did end up signing the contract, albeit still with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. The next day, I called some of the other companies, where a similar solution was offered for a similar price but without feeling like the object of a sales pitch and more like a company partnering with me to come up with the best solution. Based on the reviews I've read, I'm sure Indiana Foundation Service does high quality work and I'm not questioning that at all. Rather, if you are like me and don't appreciate aggressive sales techniques, then I recommend looking elsewhere as there are plenty of other good options.
