"I Hired Bertie to replace a water damaged wall. He was very responsive. The job went very well. Bertie is knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He also did some unplanned masonry work that needed to be done and did a great job on all. His cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again."

"My wife and I needed some major paining done to our new condominium unit. The walls are 22’ high so we needed someone with experience. We called JMC for an estimate and Justin showed up, took measurements and assured us it would be easy for him and his crew to get it done in two days. We trusted him because you know within 20 seconds of meeting him that he is a man of integrity. It was the best decision we made because Justin is not only thorough, prompt and efficient but he’s also one the nicest people we’ve ever met. He and his crew are so considerate and professional that I know we will never use another painter again. We could not recommend JMC Painting more! They are the best. Thank you Justin and your team for making our place look brand new! Mike & Krissy Roberts"

"They did a great job, no fuss. We scheduled via email and then they emailed to let me know the work had been completed. From the cards they left, they also do window washing, and I may have them do that in the spring."

"Quick response to my call and got it done within a week of my request. Courteous and affable fellows. Repairs look great. Will have them back for work on a rock wall."

"Marcio followed through with everything he said, either verbally or in his contract estimate. My condo is on the first floor of a renovated Victorian building so the rooms have high ceilings and lots of molding. Marcio was on the job with one other member of his crew for the duration of the job. Both of them were congenial, a pleasure to have around, and very hard workers. They arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the day, cleaned up after themselves each day. Marcio was also very helpful with selecting the appropriate color matches for the different rooms. I recommend his company without hesitation.

"My kitchen and bathroom renovations are in process. United Home Solutions was willing to step into renovations in process when the first contractor could not continue. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled. These are good people to work with on a project that has endless decisions in my older home as they discuss the possibilities and know how to implement decisions reached."

"This guy is nothing less than a saint!
Gabe Arsenault is a man you can count on. With his crew, he
did everything he said he would do and more, despite seemingly impossible
challenges. And he did it all superbly well, so far as we can tell.
We presented Gabe with a gigantic challenge, which he took
on and surmounted, repeatedly refusing to accept a raise in price.
Our house was in bad shape. Several years earlier, the Board
of Assessors officially rated its condition ?very poor.? It had not been painted
for 43 years.  Moss was growing on the
roof. Tree branches abounded overhead. Some of the trim was rotting, and siding
was damaged. One of the windows had a collapsed screen and missing glazing.
Thresholds were dilapidated. A ramshackle shed stands just 5 feet from the
house. It had a stubborn storm drainage problem, which had undermined part of
the foundation. Gabe attacked each of these problems and put them right.
For 43 years, the house was 100% light green. We got to choose
our color scheme, so we opted for radical change: rust for the body, caramel
for the trim, and burnt copper for the doors and pilasters. Gabe added black
for the thresholds and house number. After meticulous preparation and prime
coats, all of that went onto the house AND SHED. Even the shed has attractive
trim now!
Drainage was the crowning glory of Gabe?s work here. How
many painters or carpenters do you know who can handle impossible drainage
problems? He put up gutter board, gutters, downspout, and appropriate downspout
extension for the back roof. With his crew, he hand-excavated through rocks and
gravel to create a lengthy subsurface drainage system for the garage entry,
moving excess soil to where it was needed to slow down runoff from the front.

"CSA subed the electrical, HVAC, plastering plumbing and painting and did the repair work on the kitchen floor, lock replacement, vent installation, refinishing and some wall and ceiling prep for the painters.  The experience and knowledge possessed by the former owner Brad Sterns completely reshaped the project much for the better and we would hire them again just for his expertise.  We are very pleased with the result, except for the quality of the painting work.  The overall quality of their work was very good; but they had trouble properly staffing and overseeing the subs so that some of the sub work was below par and the contract work, which should have be finished by the end of June wasn't completeuntil the first week in September and cost us a lot of grief as well as extra money staying in hotels while the painting was finished.  The subcontractors were on the whole excellent except for the painters who were terrible, did not properly prep the walls properly and got paint on the woodwork and furniture.  The painters wanted extra for washing two walls; but painted over cobwebs and dust on the others.  Nothing was sanded on the walls.  The HVAC sub did an excellent job installing the new gas heating and air conditioning; but inadvertently left a drain pipe too short and got some condensate water into the newly insulated walls.  When told about the problem, rad Sterns fixed it right away - hopefully no damage was done in the 3 weeks the problem went unnoticed.
