He thoroughly inspected the property, prepared a detailed bid, gave us advice on the most important items and delivered a bid that could work with our budget and the existing lender requirements. His entire crew were professional and consciencious. Devin delivered on time, on budget with high quality work. He kept us informed throughout the process. "I hired this contractor to level my basement floor, install a backup sump pump, and add a laundry sink. The basement looks better, but had significant problems. THE GOOD:The laundry sink and sump pump work properly alongside the existing drain. THE CONCERNS:The sump pump was initially installed incorrectly, removing the drain. I was told both couldn't fit due to equipment size. Only after speaking with the owner was a solution found.The floor leveling fell short. The self-leveler had grey and white patches. When I raised concerns, I was told this was normal and it doesn't come in colors,contradicting my research. Since I didn't discuss coloring upfront, I paid an additional $850 for epoxy paint. Even after painting, the floor remained uneven with noticeable depressions. The door was left unlocked with keys inside rather than in the lockbox. BOTTOM LINE:The basement is improved but not level as promised. Be very specific about expectations upfront and be prepared to push back on issues"

"Could have been any more impressed with the pleasantness, punctuality, professionalism and end product. We had a old deck with a huge tree in close proximity to the house. The removed that without even a piece of bark falling on the roof. Having someone that knows what they are doing and are trustworthy is the best combination ever. Deck was huge and they build in storage underneath that was water proof as well. Solid as a rock."

"GO Contractors was highly professional, friendly, punctual, and demonstrated their expertise in this unique and challenging project. The project was to demolish a 10 foot high shed on our penthouse terrace 2 feet from edge of building. Nestor and his team did an outstanding job in difficult conditions (heat, high up) and hauled everything away. There was no damage to the building and no debris left behind. "The five-month journey that we spent with Chris, Nicoleta, Nate, Elmer and all the team at GSB Builders has beaten any of our expectations and delivered a beautiful second-floor addition, which includes a master suite and office space. After a lot of hesitation, Chris, Nicoleta and Nate convinced us to take the step forward, captured our main ideas and proposed a design that has greatly improved, not only the space and appeal of our own house, but also the neighborhood. In fact, over the course of working together, we have come to appreciate each other deeply and have come to view Nicoleta and Chris as friends of the family. No major construction project is without bumps and stress along the road, and ours was no exception. What mattered is that we were always able to rely to the GSB team to do their best to rectify any problem and solidify our trust.
