"22 September 2025 Bob DeCheubel is the gentleman who came out to give me an estimate on repairing my leaky roof. And gentleman he is! Like the kind of person you wished was your long-time, next door neighbor. When he quoted me a price, it sounded so reasonable, considering how much repair work needed doing, and the substantial amount of additional work Reliable Roofers were going to include in their price, i decided why not get an estimate for the whole roof. The estimate was extremely reasonable, so i've just signed a contract with Reliable Roofers today. Bob is the kind of low-key sales person, whom you will be fortunate to find in today's business world. The type of individual that seems to have vanished from America, who is a real person, and represents the kind of humanity that we once experienced here. "It was time to replace my roof and I requested several estimates from roofing companies. I selected Marshall Roofing Siding and Windows. It was not the cheapest estimate but the estimate assessment by Mr. Chris Butler, of Marshall Roofing, was the most thorough. Mr. Butler inspected the roof, went into the attic (and found a bathroom vent venting into the attic instead of outside), went into my screened in porch to determine what kind of nails to use so that they would not come through the tongue and groove ceiling and he noticed some old satellite dishes that could be removed. Marshall roofing updated the proposal several times with all of my concerns and additions. This is great customer service! When it came to choosing a shingle color, we struggled to find the right color. Mr. Butler kindly offered to bring out additional shingle samples to us on a Friday afternoon. Again, above and beyond customer service. Mr. Butler also worked with us to find and install an attic fan specifically designed to be quiet when running. The job started promptly on time and was finished in two days. Mr. Butler came out as the job was wrapping up and when the crew finished packing up, on his own, he did a second magnetic sweep around my house to find any nails that may have been missed during the magnetic sweep performed by the crew. Again, great customer service! We are very happy with the workmanship and customer service that we received from Marshall Roofing and would highly recommend their services!!"

"I would not hesitate to recommend - responsive, great communication, reasonable pricing. We had a disastrous roof flooding experience from a flat roofed dormer and needed it fixed quickly. As Roberto worked on the dormers he found significant water damage below the shingles, documenting it with photos for us. Although it cost more than the original estimate to replace the flat plywood sheaths and wood fascia, it was still reasonable and the work done was thorough and looks great. "

"I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent retaining wall replacement project completed by John Krause Construction (JKC) at my property. After reading positive reviews and receiving an estimate that, although over my budget, seemed reasonable for the work involved, I made the decision to hire JKC. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a significant mistake, and I am left extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the overall experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior: The crew exhibited unacceptable behavior while working on my property. Not only did I witness them disposing of bodily fluids on-site, but they were also disrespectful and dismissive. when I raised concerns no response was received. I now smell urine when entering and exiting my garage. 2. Unresponsive Ownership: I have attempted to reach out to the owner multiple times to address these concerns and resolve the issues, but my messages have been met with silence. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and has only added to my disappointment. The owner refused to speak on the phone since the owner was made aware of the call being recorded. 3. Property Damage: During the construction process, my property was left damaged in multiple areas. This included e.g., landscaping destruction, equipment damage. Personal crew members vehicles being driven through my yard leaving deep tire marks damage. 4. Subpar Quality of Work: Despite the high cost of the project, the final result does not meet the standards outlined in the estimate or contract. No proper grading was completed. Every time it rains pools of water sits in front and behind the wall. The response received was. “we have passed all inspections.  There will be some water pooling while it is settling still. Plus the fact of the hard rain today, it will happen.” The wall has been completed for 2 months. Given the extensive problems, stress and anxiety I have faced. I do not recommend John Krause Construction."
