"The job was done fine, and the final price was fair. There was a significant difference between the verbal estimate and the first written estimate, but after some negotiations, the issue was settled. Also when the contractor started the job, he discovered that he couldn't do the job as agreed. It was originally agreed to use paved stone pavers instead of replacing my flagstone. But the existing foundation did not allow this. In the end, the contractor did what I originally wanted; and that was to reset my old flagstone. He adjusted the price accordingly. I was very satisfied, and highly recommend this contractor."

"We hired the group to dig up a large area of bamboo and take a tree down. They were the only group I could find that would take on the bamboo removal. A back hoe was used to dig up the bamboo and I think the job was done fairly well. However, The roots were largely not removed so the bamboo came back up in full force after a month. Bamboo is difficult to eradicate, so we expected this. My main complaint is regarding the payment. They did not accept credit cards and although they accepted checks, they would not accept my out of state check. They did not want to wait 2 days for my check to clear. It was suggested that I could pay at Walmart, which I was not willing to do. The final solution, after much discussion was a Venmo payment, not to the company but to a specific person who I never met. I requested a receipt with the company name on it and never received it. I have hired numerous contractors for various reasons over the past 30 years and have never experienced such a problem over payment. This experience was bizarre. I would not hire them again."

We were very satisfied with the amount and scheduled that day to have the work done. They showed up on time and were very professional. We have received so many compliments and when neighbors asked who did it and we told them they all said they knew someone who had work done by Joe and said they are the best. We agree with them. We plan on having the sealcoating done in the summer. Great job and very nice to work with."
