"Hired Water Works Services to remove an old water softener and replace the coper piping. They were recommended by Home Advisor. They showed up on time, did the work quickly and the work looks great. Then after using the water it was determined that the water pressure was low, most noticeable of the 2nd floor. Contacted Water Works Services and after texting them back and forth, I figured out that the hot water pressure was low. The Plummer indicated that they had turned off the hot water shutoff valve while they were working on the water main piping. I turned the valve to open it up and it just kept spinning. This indicated that the valve was broken, it would not close or open, it was stuck in the middle somewhere. Water Works Services came back out and fixed the valve for no charge. They stood by their work which was a nice surprise."

"Received written estimate in less than a week after in-home visit. At the agreed on start date, workers showed up exactly when promised. All three were professional, personable and efficient. They treated my home as if it were their own. As soon as an area was finished they vacuumed and left it as they found it. They never left screws, wires, plastic, etc lying around. The same care was taken on the outside of the house. They made sure that everything they installed was neat, straight and fastened down properly. They even took the time to recaulk a window that I didn't realize had a problem. This had absolutely nothing to do with their work; they just did it to be nice and they knew that I couldn't do it myself. When the job was complete, I was given instructions on how everything worked, had an opportunity to ask questions, and told that if I had any problems one of them would either talk me through the solution or come here to help me. "Went very well for me.  They did an excellent job of removing fuel oil tank in one piece.  Very heavy tank.  Did excellent job on clay tile - got to see the results via camera they inserted and snaked through tile. <br />"

"Not well. It was a young guy who did not bring the proper tools to complete the job. He said that he had forgot the rotor rooter and would need to go get it. Well, some how that changed to him saying that he tried to unplug it with some other piping tool he had but couldn't clear it and if we still wanted it clear, we would need to call back and set it up with John for an additional fee of over $200. I was not happy about this. Me and my husband decided to call a professional well service company and they told us that our well was fine. It was not going dry and what needed to be done was that the well pump had to be replaced. That company was C&J Well and Drilling from Brownsburg. If you have a well, I would highly recommend them, not John & John. We have been customers of John & John for years. They were always my go to plumbing company and I would typically probably rate them an A-B for regular plumbing service. After this apt. though, I could not ever give them a professional rating like that again. The young man was very friendly, but had to stay on the phone with his boss to figure out what the problem was. I don't think it was all his fault. I think they should have sent someone with more experience in servicing wells. I do think it's his fault for not bringing the rotor rooter though. I don't think it's appropriate to come and complete service without the proper tools. I gave the office a detailed explanation of the problems that I was experiencing and feel that they should have at least came prepared to fix the problem. I think carrying a rotor rooter should be a necessary, basic tool to carry as a plumber. Maybe I'm wrong. Just my thoughts. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use them again. I hope they are able to make some improvements to the company."
